Kohler K-8593-CP MasterShower 72-Inch Metal Shower Hose, Polished Chrome

Good quality, although I'd expect a bit more "weight" to this given its price.. but it does match the Kohler handheld shower head I recently purchased (Flipside). Mine was missing one of its black rubber gaskets from one side, but I had an extra on hand from the old hose this replaced which fit perfectly.

I don’t know how long Kohler thinks their hose should last but I carefully dried after each use and was surprised when the metal coil corroded and broke free of plastic tube. I guess I wasn’t as careful as I thought. I settled for a brushed nickel to go with Artifacts polished nickel. Looks fine. I was able to unscrew and replace easily. I had decided to order a new handle but soaked old one in vinegar and have an extra now

Do not order this shower hose based on product photo, hose does not have connectors as pictured. Had to return.

Not OEM replacement as identified in the picture. The actual product does NOT have the gasket around the end to prevent slipping. It is also not the same color as the OEM. I would have been better off just paying down for the knock-off brand.

I thought I was getting the exact item that was pictured in the description, however what I got was clearly an inferior product. My old original Kohler shower hose looked like what was pictured and is well more made. The one that came in the factory sealed box does not have a screen mesh inside the hose nor does it have the O-ring holder end. It is also about half the weight of my old shower hose. I can buy a shower hose of the same quality at half the price of a different name which I'm sure comes out of the same Chinese factory. I would have returned this item but as my old shower hose is leaking, I needed one right now and it's the last Kohler shower hose I will ever buy. Buyer beware.
