Good value and good performance
I bought this hole saw to cut some holes into two pieces of 38mm thick pine. I didn’t fancy doing this with a hand drill, so as I am fortunate to own an old pillar drill, I opted to use that. I marked my wood where I wanted my holes, clamped the centre drill bit down onto this position, then used a g-clamp to clamp the wood to the drill base. I also used several bits of old wood to block it against the back pillar, to stop it turning under torque.I soon learned that the trick here is to take things slow, offering-up the saw to the hole for a second or two, then backing off to allow things to cool down. I also found it useful to brush the teeth regularly, to stop compacted sawdust building-up.I cut just over halfway through the wood until the centre drill bit came through the underside. I then turned the wood over and (using the centre drilled hole as a guide) cut from the opposite side. This gave a nice clean finish and avoided any breakout or splintering. I prized-out the wooden donut from the saw by sticking a screwdriver in the access holes on either side and levering it out.It seems well-built, and although the weld looks a little untidy, the cut holes are fine. I removed the supplied centre drill bit’s spring, as it wasn’t strong enough to push-out the wooden donut and it actually started to hinder the cutting process on such a thick piece of wood. I dare say it might work better on thinner, lighter material.By the end of the six hole cuts, the red paint was starting to come away from the saw, and as this feels to be a plastic-type material, I feel this wouldn’t be helping with the smooth rotation of the saw. However, in the end I got a set of nice round holes, so it would probably be unfair to dock a point for this.So overall, good value and good performance.

Very good value for money
So far, I have only used these for cutting through wood. For that, they are very effective. There are slots in the side of the saws to help release the cut-out part from the saws. Managed this without too much struggle. The only thing I don't understand is why they have a spring around the centre drill? It doesn't help much in getting the waste out of the saw and, in fact, became detached from one saw, so I left it off.

Well made cutter and arbor
Good quality itemCut holes in plywood with ease, fitted my cordless drill without any problem, great price I have paid more just for a cutter but got a arbor with it that can be used with almost any size hole saw

It does the job
Top quality hole saw. Sharp, strong and gives a nice clean reasonably accurate hole. I wouldn’t use this on anything harder than mild steel, as even with coolant it struggles a bit. It offers one definite bonus and that is that you can put a 100mm hole in something in one go rather than drilling lots of holes the having to file. It’s a simple set up making it nice and easy to use and because it isn’t too deep, that lends it versatility too. Just keep the cutting speed down and on steel, a bit of oil or WD40 will extend the life of the saw.

Gets the Job Done, but Uneven Teeth Lead to Burning and Rough Cuts
I bought the 60mm bit for £6.89 to cut a hole in 5mm plywood. It did eventually get the job done, but not without a few issues. The main problem I noticed was burning/singeing of the wood during the cut. This seemed to be due to inconsistent cutting. On closer inspection, a couple of the teeth looked slightly misaligned or protruding more than others, which meant the cut wasn’t as even as it should be. As a result, it felt like certain sections were doing more work than others, leading to excess heat buildup and that scorched finish. In terms of build quality, it’s a bit underwhelming. I appreciate this is a budget tool, but given you're effectively paying a premium for a single hole saw (as opposed to a multi-size set for ~£20), I would have expected better consistency and finishing. That said, it’s not useless: It will get through the material and it's fine for a one-off job if you’re patient; just expect to go slowly and not get the cleanest cut. If you’re planning to cut multiple holes or want a cleaner, more reliable finish, I’d honestly recommend going for a multi-piece set from a more reputable brand instead.
