Hiwokk 48 Inch Heavy Duty Dog Crate, Indestructible Kennel for Large Dogs

Probably one of the sturdiest kennels I’ve had. Our dog typically breaks through easier. I wouldn’t say it’s foldable. Very stable, it’s a large kennel, but something we have needed so it does take the expected space. It was easy to put together by myself, in terms of stability, it is well put together and stronger metal than typical kennels. A nice touch is the wheels for moving it. For the price I would say it is worth it since it doesn’t seem like it would be easily broken.

super easy to put together seems very thick and durable size as described i have 3 large dogs silver lab pit and pocket pit if needed all 3 fit inside of it WITH SPACE TO TURN AROUND STAND AND LAY DOWN but solely purchased for silver lab and he has TONS OF ROOM!!!!

LOVE this cage. It was definitely worth it. My dog is a 55lb chow/pit mix and she has more than enough room in this 48”. We had to try something heavy duty because she was chewing right through the wire cages. It is sturdy and the wheels are a plus. Putting it together was pretty easy.

My German shepherd is a wild one. We went through cages. The wire ones she would roll around like a hamster ball and distroyed anything in her path, including a tv. The plastic ones she ate through. We had to make a choice on how she destroyed the house more caged or free. For 7yrs she has been mainly free but still gets into so much trouble tearing everything up. Decided to try out the heavy duty cage as a last resort to keep my house in one piece. Only had these for one day but she stayed contained and the cage didn’t move all day. Love how they are on caster wheels for easy cleaning and the front wheels lock. We bought 42”x28” Kong mats to go inside the 48” cages because the wire bottom did not look comfortable for the feet and to be honest if it was bare she’d have probably chewed through it. So far so good. They were pretty easy to put together. We got 2. Once we figured out the way the first one went, we had the 2nd together quick. They are heavy, had to have my husband bring the boxes in but I could have opened them and brought them in piece by piece if need be.

Love this crate! So easy to assemble and definitely a secure, safe space for my dog. Very affordable. Highly recommend!

Love this cage. Lots of room for my fur child. Very well made. Only draw back is the locks are not sturdy. Need better locks for this cage. Easy to put together.

4 stars because putting it together was a long and tiring process. If you have someone to help you let them help! Not much instructions but they were simple instructions. The plus side is that it comes with extra screws. One of the metal holes to screw in the screw popped out. Easy fix put a screw in the metal hole and then hammer the screw + hole back into the rod. (If it pops out you’ll know which one I’m talking about otherwise no need to worry about it.) The crate itself is great plenty of room for my dog to move around in, he’s old but once we put his bed on top and his toy inside he loves being in there. He did try to test it and see if he had something to pull and tear up but I’m happy to say he was not successful. Make sure to set it up in the room it will be in because I had difficulty squeezing it through a door I was just excited to set it up for him so I forgot to measure our door. The 48inch is big enough for our 83 pound Rottweiler he has a lot of room to spread out. He can also fully stand up but I put the mattress in there. With the mattress he can still stand up just he has to duck his head. It is a thick therapeutic dog bed with memory foam. I’m sure if it’s a slimmer dog bed it will be fine. The top hatch comes in hand but we don’t use it we just let him out so he can fully stand. If he figures out the top hatch he will find a way to jump out and may hurt himself. He seems to love the crate so that is a win for me along with the indestructibility. I will post pictures of his old crate vs this one to show how much my dog can tear a crate especially when it storms. he hates storms so much that this is what happens with each crate in the middle of the night and we have tried trazodone from vet. (dirt in the crate due to rain and mud since he has to go outside and pee then quickly come back in.) added because yesterday when I set it up and today it has been storming with thunder and new crate is still standing
