How long does this keep after opening and how long if unopened? Thank you.

Thank you for your question. This product has a 2-year shelf life. We recommend that you keep the zipper on the bag zipped in between uses and store in a dark cabinet as this material is light sensitive. It can also be kept in an airtight container in your refrigerator for extra freshness. Please reach out to us at support@plethora7.com if you have any additional questions. Thanks, -The Plethora7 Team

What country is this grown in?

Thank you for your question. Lone Star Botanicals' Blue Spirulina is grown in the cold oceans and lakes of Japan and Mongolia. A Certificate of Analysis is conducted on all batches to test for heavy metals, bacteria, and toxins. It is organically certified and passes all tests before being sold. Distributed out of Texas. We hope this helps. Please reach out to us at support@plethora7.com if you have any additional questions. Thanks, -The Plethora7 Team

Since this is sourced in Japan, how are you sure the radioactive material from Fukushima is not affecting this? Cancer patients need to know.

The manufacturer should provide the regions where this product is sourced in Japan along with the purity certifications. You’d have to look at a map and research the areas and watersheds in Japan that continue to have contamination risks.

Does this powder have a California Prop 65 warning on its packaging?

There’s no warning of that on the packaging
