This organic blue spirulina powder has been a great addition to my wellness routine. The color is vibrant and beautiful, and it blends easily into smoothies, juices, water, and other recipes. I especially appreciate that it does not have the strong fishy smell or taste that some spirulina products can have. A small amount creates a rich blue color, so the container lasts a long time. I also love that it is vegan and made with a concentrated phycocyanin extract. I have been very pleased with the quality, appearance, and versatility of this product and would purchase it again.

I love this blue spirulina powder! The color is absolutely incredible — so vibrant and beautiful. It works amazingly for naturally coloring foods and gives everything such a fun, bright blue color without needing artificial dyes. A little bit goes a long way, and I’ve loved using it in different recipes. My only complaint is the packaging. It is honestly such a mess to use. Every time I open it, my fingers end up covered in blue powder, and when I try to close the bag, the powder puffs out everywhere and gets all over me and the counter. It comes in a bag with another ziplock bag inside, but I think a jar or a sturdier container would make this so much easier and less messy. The product itself is great — I just wish the packaging matched how good the powder is!

Mmmm Blue Spirulina. It's so ... Blue! You know what you can do with this? You can make your own homemade version of a Coconut Cloud Smoothie just like you'd find at Erewhon. Only you won't be paying $23 for a drink. Smart. I'd get this again. It smells a little weird in the bag but that doesn't translate to whatever you're adding it to. Go for it. --- Coconut Cloud Smoothie Yields: 1 Serving Total Time: ~10 minutes Equipment: High-speed blender, hand/stand mixer or whisk, tall glass Ingredients: Main Smoothie Base 1 cup Almond Milk 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks ½ cup frozen banana slices (approx. ½ banana) ¼ medium avocado (fresh for maximum creaminess; use frozen if preferred for extra chill or to help texture hold) 1 tablespoon almond butter 2 tablespoons Coconut Cream (see below for prep) 1 tablespoon vanilla collagen powder 5-6 drops vanilla stevia, or to taste ¼ teaspoon blue spirulina powder ½ cup ice (optional, for extra thickness) Glass Swirl & Topping ⅔ cup Coconut Cream, refrigerated overnight 2-3 more drops vanilla stevia, to sweeten the whipped cream ½ teaspoon blue spirulina powder, for swirl/splatter effect Preparation Step 1: Whip the Coconut Cream 1. Scoop out ⅔ cup of chilled coconut cream. 2. Add 2-3 drops vanilla stevia and whip using a mixer or whisk until light peaks form (3–5 mins). 3. Divide: 2 tablespoons for bottom/sides of glass 2 tablespoons for topping Remaining ~⅓ cup goes into the blender Step 2: Prep the Glass 1. Smear 2 tbsp of the whipped cream into the bottom and up the sides of the glass. 2. Sprinkle ~½ tsp blue spirulina powder along the smeared cream. Allow it to stick and feather naturally for the signature swirl. 3. Chill glass if desired. Step 3: Blend the Smoothie In blender, combine: Almond milk Frozen pineapple Frozen banana Fresh avocado Almond butter Remaining whipped cream (~⅓ cup) Vanilla collagen Vanilla stevia (to taste) Blue spirulina (¼ tsp) Ice (optional) Blend on high until smooth, thick, and creamy. Step 4: Assemble 1. Pour smoothie into the prepped glass, being careful not to disturb the swirl pattern. 2. Add remaining 2 tbsp whipped coconut cream on top as a fluffy cloud.
