I bought these to use for some gloves & equipment that I use for fencing (HEMA; the kind with swords, not the kind with fenceposts), and I have not been disappointed. Super easy to assemble, and while I havent had to change the absorbent packet thingie yet, that seems like a piece of cake, too. They have significantly reduced the amount of stanky moisture in my gloves, and instead of smelling like a locker room, they just smell - well, they smell LESS like a locker room. But honestly, nothing is getting that smell out completely. Maybe if I had started using them from day one... Great product, will definitely be getting a second set for my work boots.

My sons have been using these for years. They really help their foot/shoe odor. It doesn't just cover the aroma with another scent, it takes away the odor. I keep buying them refills every year. I hope hope they never stop making them.

Did some research before I decided on these, so after a few weeks of using them in my son’s soccer cleats here are my thoughts. First off....if you are expecting these to eliminate 100% of the odors, then look elsewhere and when you find one that does please let me know as I don’t believe there is a product on the market that will totally eliminate the odors. Now, with that being said they do reduce the odors substantially and they don’t try to “mask” the odors with some flowery smell. Overall for the money they work very well, my son puts them in his cleats after practice/game and leaves them there until the next use. Also have a second pair that we just stick in the bottom of his soccer bag and these sticks really keep the odor at bay.

My daughter plays a lot of soccer. Because of that, neither her shoes nor her bag ever smell nice. We decided to try to keep a new set of cleats from going funky too quickly and looked around at various products. We'd tried just about everything n the past, but only direct sunlight ever worked all that well. Unfortunately, direct sunlight isn't always available in the winter or after an evening game. Decided to give GloveStix a go after reading the reviews and watching a couple of online testimonials. So far, so good. I have to say the new cleats still smell pretty new and the bag has stopped smelling like a damp locker room. Wasn't sure my daughter would use the sticks consistently as she's never put much effort into keeping her gear clean (maybe because she never saw much return on investment?), but GloveStix work so well, she's used them EVERY time her cleats come off. That, in and of itself, is a testimonial to their effectiveness. We are only a couple weeks into using the GloveStix and I'm hoping the SilverSeal technology really lasts the promised 10yrs. Even if it last through only one soccer season, though, it'll be worth the price.

This is our second set of stankstix, they work and are convenient for my daughter to keep in her volleyball back pack so the stink form her shoes won't reach the rest of her jerseys that she keeps in there. I like that it's one piece, so you won't lose one and they are large enough and bright enough so you know exactly where they are. They are a little pricey but they have been a solid purchase for us.

If you want to get rid of shoes odor, this doesn't work. If you want a strong room scent,this will work for a while.

Worked really well, removed stink from shoes even after just one night. Best results if placed in shoes for a whole day (24hrs).
