I love my quick release Skewers.
They are really nice and work well. I am not the type to remove the tire/wheel from the front fork every time I break the bike down to put it in my car. This is the fastest way and they work the best IMO!

Inexpensive, high-quality skewer gets my old mountain bike back on the trail.
I broke the rear skewer on my old mountain bike by levering it too much. I thought that I had wrecked the bike or was in for an expensive repair. I had never heard of a skewer but I managed to find information on it through Amazon product search. I came upon DEER U Road Skewers during my search and I was delighted by the low price and clear explanation of how to use the skewer. A couple minutes after receiving them I replaced the broken skewer. Since the DEER Skewers come as a 2 pack I'll replace the front skewer as well. I like the red color and the precise fit with my Trek bike.

Cheaply made, but they work
Not high quality, but they'll work for as cheap as they were. The color is more orange/gold than yellow/gold, which is prefect for my bike.

Heavy duty
Have to mount these this coming g week but S. FLORIDA HAS BEEN UNDER A GALE WARNING ALL WEEK. Heavy downpours every day since sat or sun last weekend nice n heavy. Need to replace the bearings too.

Maybe I’m not a bike mechanic
I’m not unfamiliar with bikes or tools but I thought for sure this would be a fix to my problem of wanting to quickly and easily remove and reinstall my tires on my bike for storage or transport Turns out, not so much. My local bike shop ended up having exactly what I needed, reassuring me that I had just bought the wrong size Hence, my return of the item.

Works well for cheap
Good for road bikes. Used on a budget build for my sister's trek madone, 30km so far no issues. Why not?
