It started leaking a few weeks ago. Once we knew what the problem was, I ordered and replaced the wax ring with the correct gasket. No LEAKS, easy installation. There is a film on each side that must be pealed off to expose the adhesive on the gasket--holds it in place as you replace the toilet on the wall. Be sure to align the toilet with the pipe so you don't start leaking again. I had to put a piece of baseboard under the toilet to raise it so it aligned with the pipe. Tighten carefully...you don't want to crack the porcelain. Around here these toilets are about $800 to replace, if you can find one.
