Wonderful for close, detail work
I wasn't sure about ordering these to use on my very expensive glasses. I was afraid that I might scratch my lenses but they absolutely do not! There is a spring clip that you press open and position theses glasses over your regular lenses. All the parts that touch your lenses are covered in plastic or rubber. They stay in place and don't slip around. It is very easy to flip the lenses up when you don't need them. I am using them to read music on a music stand. My regular glasses are progressive bi-focals but the bi-focal is positioned at the bottom of the lenses and I can't use them unless it point my nose up to the ceiling. These clip-ons provide the additional magnification just where I need it. I have also used them for doing detailed craft, sewing and bead work.

Great while the springs last
I bought these lenses in January 2018. It is now August 2018 & I need to replace them. So I got about 7 months of HEAVY use for just under $13 -- not bad at all, but not quite great. The glasses are reasonably scratch resistant. Fairly light in weight so... comfortable to use. I flip them up & down a lot -- down for reading, up for conversations & other activities. The spring holding the lens when flipped up is still working just fine. However, the spring that holds the lens in place when it is flipped down, so as to be against my glasses for reading purposes -- that spring has lost some power. As a result, the lenses "sag" away from my glasses, just a quarter inch or so, when I tilt my head to read or do cloose work. It's a minor annoyance but spoils my concentration at times. So I just bought a replacent pair of lenses. The lenses themselves are great. Flip lenses are a good idea for people who, like me, make frequent shifts between close work & other activities. With lighter use these lenses would surely last longer. Even so... 7 months of heavy use for under $13 -- I can live with that. Aloha to all from Hawaii.

Great for aiding progressive glasses
I find these days the glasses they make (progressive type) are great for distance, but your reading area is not magnified like with the older bifocals and the reading spot can be so small you have to move your head back and forth because you can't move your eyes. These clip on glasses fix all that! They offered me magnification I needed and a larger reading area when worn over my glasses. You need to buy the right number for you. Ask your doctor. 2.00 was what my doc said I needed over my glasses and it works perfectly. (You could probably also go to a store that sells reading glasses in the pharmacy area and try some on over your glasses to figure out what lets you read.)

Better in concept than execution
They're better in concept than execution. The fit fine, add only a small amount of weight, and seem to do basically what they are designed for. But the optics aren't great and reduce light significantly, requiring the use of very bright lighting to be effective. Still, I have used them for close work, and they're okay.

Stay away
I have narrow eyeglasses and these sit in the top third of those lenses. They are basically unusable. The picture online doesn't show a correct image. I would guess it was placed with a distortion. It doesn't show how really narrow, top to bottom, these clip-ons really are. I don't know what to do with them. I guess I'm just out the money.

Didn't Work for Me
They just didn't clip on my glasses well at all The points of the attachment bothered the bridge of my nose. I don't use them.

I use these to do artwork
At 80 years old I was diagnosed with macular degeneration but since I like to read and do artwork, I have been using these clip-on glasses for many years. W/o them I cannot see. I have several pairs to keep where I need them and they work great. I am happy with this purchase.

Excellent Reading Glasses!
At first, I was skeptical about these glasses, coz they look dorky and funny in the picture. Well, I said I'm just going to use them at home while reading with my regular glasses. But once I received them, I was surprised to see them that they perfectly fit with my glasses, and they're not even noticeable once you wear them. These are great if you love to read books while wearing your regular glasses, plus they are so clear and very comfortable while reading. 5 stars for this product.
