They are stained so the natural fragrance is lacquered over
Very nice set of mala for any Buddhist sect. Goes around my wrist 4 times but it is a tight fit. I don’t dare take them off in case the string breaks, but I don’t usually take them off until they wear out. I would recommend these anyway because it is of good quality and the beads aren’t too small.

Beautiful but a little snug
This is well made and smells good too. My wrist size is medium but this is made small when wrapped five times around, and four times it’s too big. I wish it was two-three beads bigger so it would fit perfect. Might have to return…,

Incorrect bead count
The quality is fine, but the product has more beads than advertised. I was quite specifically looking for 108 and minerals has about 110, excluding the center ornament

Beautiful Wood Beads
Very happy. The beads are real wood and beautiful. The scent of the sandalwood is soothing. The mala beads came with their own pouch if your prefer to carry them than wear them. I like that I can wear them as a bracelet. If I want to take a break at a park and chant, them being on my wrist is a bonus.

Amitabha. The Buddhist mala is very good quality and has a distinct sandle wood scent. I will probably buy another variation of this prayer beads for it's quality and simplicity.
