Nice saw, not for a rookie.
Arrived without the handles and hardware. Notified seller and a replacement as was sent immediately. The wife and I tried it and felt as if we were getting nowhere. We have no clue as to what the best way to saw a 4'round tree trunk. She said enough is enough and had me grab the chainsaw. It was worth the experience.

update to 5 stars. great cusotmer service
at first it arrived with no handles. but guess what - they sent them out right away and apologized for the mix up. I think the handles came out in shipping. things get pretty beat up in transit out here so I understand. The handles arrived quickly and everything is great. Would recommend

This is the first year we actually used it and it looks like this saw will last for decades
As a prepper/survivalist living in northern Michigan I want to be able to secure firewood year after year. I can cut trees down with an axe and once it is cut into firewood lengths I can split it with a maul. But without the use of a chain saw, there was no practical way to section a downed tree into lengths to be split. This is the first year we actually used it and it looks like this saw will last for decades. We love it. Another member of my group has a similar saw that was cheaper to buy and cheaper made that worked almost as well but wasn't going to last nearly as long which is why we bought this one. We are totally in love with this thing. Anyone that has a need to hand cut firewood should pay the extra and get this one. You won't regret it.
