ARCTIC FOX Electric Paradise Hair Dye - Vegan, Semi-Permanent - 8 oz

I love Arctic Fox. It stays for a decent amount of time, rinses out in the shower well, and fades wonderfully. When I started applying this shade, I was worried it wouldn't do much. The dye was alarmingly translucent and even though it was bright pink on my head, I was worried it would rinse out and not leave any color behind because of how pale it was. For context, my hair was bleached to a 7/8. In the shower, I rinsed it out and the water ran almost completely clear right from the start, which also worried me. It was sudsing a little like hair dye does, and felt very slippy, but no color came out. I gave my hair a quick wash and deep condition, and when I looked in the mirror, it was, in fact, bright pink! I adore this color, and it's exactly what I was going for. A lot of pinks are a little too purple/blue for me; I'm not a fan of fuchsias or cotton candy pink. But this is the perfect warm shade, and if you're not amazing at making sure every last strand is saturated (like me,) this color blends into any blonde spots nicely. The small bottle had enough for me to do my fringe and the lower half of my hair with about half the bottle left, and did not stick to my natural hair color or skin at all.

Smells like grapes and nice bright colors but fades quickly

This is amazing, it doesn't stay in as long as some other colors do! But it's such a beautiful & bright pink. No other pink has ever taken on my hair, Until I tried this & I love it😏 I'll definitely be buying the pink again soon, That's for sure! The Green is very bright & Bright also, It just fades a little fast, But it doesn't take much color either! My hair is to my shoulders & we only used half of both bottles for all over Highlights!

Between 3 and 4 stars. Color is super vibrant if you are blond. I haven't had the opportunity to check it under black light but I can tell that in natural light it could be as a Halloween orange color wig. Under the sun it tends to be more colorful and better looking :) between hot pink and fluorescent orange. Color looks great in pics. It is truly as they show BUT in person is much more vibrant. Be prepared. I am very disappointed as I don't think it may last all the washes they described. After one single wash, it faded almost half! Even using a good shampoo and cold water.. It looks more fucsia pink :S So I am guessing it is more like a regular deposit conditioner that must be used on every wash so it can last. The down side for this is the amount you must have and the amount of time you should spend with this product versus ones in the market. Think the difference would be the colors :S I also would like the vendor to add more instructions here instead of having to look on their website regarding instructions. My tip for other customers would be to add all the amount of tincture you'll need for the whole head because if you do it in parts, you won't get the same color most of the times if you're not a professional. This will leave darker or lighter spots. So, for this, be prepared to know how many bottles you will need. If you want a peach color, I think you will need to add just a bit more of Orange.

The color I used was Electric Paradise. It has a sort of bubblegum smell and the consistency of a thick conditioner. Based on previous experience with it, I used it straight from the bottle (putting it in a bowl first will cause the dye to weaken before you can get it all on) and pretty much slathered it on. I applied heat for 30 minutes (with a heat cap) then rinsed it well. In preparation for the dye, I used Joico Blond Life lightener with 30 vol veroxide for the length and 20 vol veroxide for the roots, starting with the back and ending at the center part. I let it lighten to yellow and did not tone it. In my experience, it wasn't necessary with this color. I shampoo and conditioned. After my hair dried, I applied Olaplex no.0. Then I rinsed and shampooed and let my hair air dry. It was ready for Arctic Fox. After washing out the dye, I put about 1/8 teaspoon of coconut oil in my hair to make up for the natural oils that were stripped away from the bleaching. This is my second time using this dye and probably my 6th experience lightening at home. The reason that I mentioned the products I used is because my hair is naturally black and very stubborn to lighten. Bleach usually ravages my hair leaving it brittle, dry and rough, and it doesn't help that I normally have to lighten in stages, applying the chemicals up to three times to get the desired results. The Joico bleach is the gentlest yet strongest I've ever used in my hair, leaving it tangle free. My hair did feel a bit coarse after, but the Olaplex took care of that and made it soft again. My hair feels just as strong now as it was before and perhaps even a little stronger. Note: I have used Sally's "Olaplex dupe" and while I did like it, the benefits were very short lived. If it really does create bonds, they're too weak to last. The benefits of Olaplex are permanent from what I can tell. So, anyway, as for AF Electric Paradise, it's gorgeous, bold, and smells nice. I haven't taken pics outdoors or in indirect sunlight because it's late and I just got it done, but I like how it looks with my phone's flash anyway. In the second pic, I'm leaning over my pillow and it almost blends into my orange-red pillowcase, but it's definitely a really lovely pink. It's just that it looks a bit different with flash.

When I first started using Arctic Fox I loved it. The color is gorgeous and vibrant, the UV reactivity is great, and its a good price. But within 1 wash it was noticeably faded and within 4 washes my hair needed redyed. I went to the lake for a couple hours and it completely pulled all of the color from my hair. I had to buy Iroiro when my Arctic Fox color was out and I will never use Arctic Fox again. Iroiro is more vibrant and long lasting. Its been 2 months since I dyed my hair with Iroiro and I still doesn't need redyed(I don't mind my roots showing). I also spent ALL day at the lake last month and it didn't affect the color. And its around the same price. If you have no other options or liked changing your color frequently, Arctic Fox is fine and the color is good. But if you want to keep your color and save money, I wouldn't buy it.

This is actually pretty terrible. My daughter has dark blond hair and I lifted it two shades before applying the pink color. It was not a pretty, vibrant pink and it literally washed out after one shampoo.

First of all this stuff smells fantastic! Secondly, I am someone who goes through an annual cycle of getting my hair lightened one time getting it professionally colored one time and then uses coloring conditioner for the remainder of the year. I bought this thinking it was a coloring conditioner and used it like one! Yep that's right in the shower, no gloves, & mixed it with my extreme pink overtone coloring conditioner. Thirdly, It didn't stain my shower or my hands and yet did exactly what I wanted it to! I want to keep my pink hair but it keeps fading to magenta with Overtone & Keracolor no matter how much pink I throw at it. The orange in this hair dye counteracted the purple hue of my magenta hair perfectly! And now my hair is exactly the color I want it to be! vibrant hot pink!

Sur mes cheveux la couleur a duré que 2/ 3 shampooings max. Avec la plus grande partie qui est partie au premier. J’ai pourtant respecté les temps de pauses. Assez déçue vu le prix

This colour will appear more on the Orange side if you see it in the bottle cap and if you have level 10 bleached hair/ Platinum hair its going to go on and be very very bright. When I first used it I was shocked at how 'orange' the colour was but this is kinda what youd expect from neons. If you mix this colour with Crazy colour Pinkissimo, Cyclamen, or Fire OR Arctic Fox's virgin Pink or Frose, you get a booster colour that is totally worth buying this colour. You can mix the colour to your tastes and for me, I got amazing custom results with the various mixtures above which made purchasing this particular shade super worth it. I wish they had the 8oz bottles in stock though as the 4oz bottles dont last very long (my hair is around 6inches short and shaved around the sides/ back so its very short but this colour runs out if youre going to use it every month like I do. I think by the looks, this colour is like Pulp Riot's Candy which I cant get for the life of me but really want to try at some point.
