Can this be used for beards?

It would depend on how long your beard is as the attachments (comb and stylers) are for head hair. If your beard is a decent length then yes, but if short I wouldn't buy it

Is the product good is it worth getting?

It is worth it if your hair is not naturally very frizzy - mine is, and I still think it was worth it, although I purchased for half price. I wouldn't pay more given the results for my hair type. My mum and sis in law both have quite straight, thick hair, and their results were lovely with the large roller brush!
