In the past I've groomed all my dogs myself with a standard clipper but since moving, age & circumstances have caused me to use a groomer. I have 2 older shih tzu's. The younger of the 2 is a "problem child" & getting her groomed is a nightmare. She's traumatized every time she goes to the groomer. When I saw this vacuum trimmer I decided to give it a try, since it was returnable if it didn't work out for us. I've trimmed the girls 4 times since receiving it & brushed them out daily with great results. 1) First of all I'm able to sit at a table & groom them in comfort. 2) It has a powerful vacuum so every bit of hair is immediately sucked up, without any mess whatsoever. 3) it has 3 vacuum speeds ( I use it on the lowest vacuum speed) so the noise level is low & the girls don't seem to mind it at all. 4) The variety of attachments makes it easy to brush, demat & trim with a quick change of attachments. 5) There's also an upholstery brush & crevice tool to use on their bedding & our furniture & it really does suck the hair right up. It takes me roughly 15 minutes each to trim the girls, as opposed to an hour each at the groomer. Also, I can groom them more frequently & keep their hair shorter, so it's easier & quicker to groom. As for $$$, it paid for itself after the first grooming I did. The girls are calmer, they look better & it is relatively easy to use. The only thing I would improve is..... it would be nice if they could give some basic instructions on the "how to" of doing a grooming. As I mentioned, I've groomed my dogs for years but additional grooming instructions would be nice for someone coming to this product as a "newbie". ;-)

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have a 2.5 year old Aussie Doodle. I do all the grooming to avoid the cost, time, hassle needed to take him to the groomers. I have been through many razors. He has several different types of fur, curly, thick, thin, straight. All of the razors I have used in the past were ok / good for the first use. I did find a razor that was good on the second use as well. All of the ones I have tried got hair caught in the blade and it took me more than 3 hours straight from start to finish. I was cleaning up hair everywhere during and after and had to constantly stop to remove hair jammed in the blade / comb attachment. Most of the time I would give up on the comb attachment and use a regular metal comb and the blade with no attachment. When I did this the result was very uneven coat. I did oil the blades for all of the razors I have tried and cleaned them after each use. This razor vacuum combo has changed everything. I was able to fully shave my Aussie Doodle in 45 minutes. He is 50 pounds. I cleaned the cannister 3 times and there was no mess anywhere. The way the blade and vacuum are attached prevents the hair from getting stuck in the blade. I used the attached comb the entire time. There was only one time that hair got stuck, it was a mat that got stuck in the comb. The noise volume for the vacuum is low and tolerable by my dog on the lowest level. I did not need to raise the speed of the vacuum from the lowest setting at any time. If you do increase the speed / power the volume of the vacuum goes up but it is not needed during the shaving process. I have only used it one time so the proof will be after the next use. I am very optimistic with this razor. I would recommend it for anyone to home groom. The only criticism I would give is to have a bigger cannister to hold the fur. On a side note, a very important thing I learned along the way was, fully wash, condition, and comb out your dog before shaving. It makes a world of a difference.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was actually a game changer. Have two large German shepherds, obviously hair is inevitable. After brushing them nearly everyday for a week, the noticeable hair has been reduced by easily 60-70%. Brushing them is now a rather clean exercise. The brush tools work well and the vacuum catches nearly everything. It is way quieter than I was expecting. Highly recommend for shedding type dogs. I was admittedly very skeptical of this. Exceeded expectations

This has been one of THE best purchases I have ever made! It is quiet enough so that it does not scare the dogs, the fur goes right into the canister making it so I can groom the dogs right in the house. So easy to use. I have actually used ir on the 2 legged dogs to give them haircuts as well :) Easy to empty the canister, holds a lot of fur/hair. works better than I thought it would. I have recommended this to many friends and family and will continue to recommend. storage is great, there is place for all the tools and the hose wraps around making it pretty compact to store in small ares.

I do love this device. I can brush my dogs with it and they love it and I am not covered by hair. It also gets A-LOT of the dander that would otherwise be free flowing around. I would rate it 4.5 stars. The deshedding attachment is not my favorite bc it is not as effective at controlling hair going places but it does work. The regular brush does amazing but wish there was an additional attachment to at least purchase that is more like a deshedding slicker brush to grab more hair for long haired dogs. I used the clipper attachment once and it does work but have not used enough to say much about that part. It has also come in useful for small things not dog related like sweeping up around a keyboard and the keyboard itself of my sons gaming computer. The reason for not giving it 5* is the felt filters. They fall apart almost right away. can’t wash it without it becoming almost useless and they are not that cheap to have to replace every couple times you use device because they do catch A LOT of dander, which that is good. I’m gonna try and figure out a workaround and make my own. Only other downside is you can’t seem to remove the tubing for cleaning. It gets a little yucky from the dander that is pulled through it and I haven’t been able to figure out how to really clean and the seal where the canister and tubing meet I just found is a little fragile. I was wiping it down and barely rubbed it and it seems to be tearing. This could be an issue and hopefully the company will make it right if needed. Otherwise, given how much more often I can brush the dogs without hair flying everywhere, the fact that they come running when I get it out and the ease of use, and the fact it does get a lot of hair off of them, I do highly recommend it.

I like everything about this product, which honestly is a ridiculous statement. Honestly, I only use two attachments, the brush and the thinning shear. I may consider using the beard trimmer for myself as I would never use it on my boy Zeus lol. I don’t know about the other models, but the fact that this one has a speed setting makes it friendly to your pet. My dude was cool and is cool on the lowest setting after that it’s too loud for his leisure. I very rarely write reviews on the abundance of questionable item purchased online in hopes of finding one that will revolutionize my existence, well I guess this is finally that moment. The cat loves it and finally it doesn’t look like the peanuts character pig pen when he walks around with hair flying everywhere it seems like he hasn’t never ending abundance of it and this actually solves 90% of it. I don’t know how many versions they have. I think I got the best one as I said I would never use the trimming on the cat and I would never go past the first speed as it is too noisy. This thing is well worth whatever you spend if you like to have a house that is not covered in cat hair every 30 seconds. If you see, they sell a bunch of these basically all the same at a crazy different variation and price. The one that this review is linked is the one to buy. Wow. I cannot begin to describe how excited I am about this. It was $100, so I was a little skeptical to just buy it on a whim, especially after I first saw it as a social media ad. But it MORE than lived up to the hype. We have 2 dogs, a 12 y/o German Shepherd and a 2 y/o Golden. They both shed SO much. After a family member commented that our house smelled like dog, I’ve been looking for way to reduce the smell and dog hair. This vacuum is quiet enough it doesn’t scare or alert the dogs (except for the Golden who is afraid of leaves blowing) and has a powerful suction to make sure the hair doesn’t go flying. Both the grooming tool and the deshedder grab so much hair. And then the button just clicks and then it suctions right up! It also has a trimmer, which was helpful for getting the knots out of our Golden’s hair. 100/10 WOULD RECOMMEND

This is great...my Birman loves it at first the noise put her off but it's pretty quiet so the first few times I just turned the radio up...now she doesn't care even if I have it turned all the way up..every time I go near her she jumps onto her little lounge and waits for her brush..and I have collected so much fur from her..the rabbit likes it too and so does my Russian blue..this was definitely worth every cent I paid for it...and it has a lot of attachments too...love it!!

Essa máquina é ótima, o barulho é bem baixo, tem vários pentes p tosar em diferentes alturas, não fica um pelo no ar, pois o aspirador funciona perfeitamente. Um dos meus cães é assustado com barulho e não se assustou com ela. O único cuidado que tive, foi ligar a máquina próxima dele e desligar p ele ir se acostumando. Depois de fazer isso vários dias, ele aceitou sem medo. Foi uma ótima aquisição depois de pesquisar muito.
