As someone with dry skin, I'm very pleased with this soap. It gives an exceptionally thick creamy lather that leaves skin feeling cleansed but not 'stripped' or dry. The fragrance is delicious! For those with 'soft' water supply, this soap is particularly suitable because it rinses away well and doesn't leave a slimy film on the skin like most soaps do in soft water areas.

Imagine my disapointment when I realised that I spent a tenner on one bar of soap and not two.....Yes its great, but not 10 quid per bar great.

If you’ve come to this soap chasing that sharp, zingy citrus hit – the kind that makes you feel like life has endless possibilities – you’re about to be let down gently.Don’t get me wrong, it’s a solid soap. Nice brand. Does the job. But for me? Too polite. I want a citrus scent that grabs me by the nose and shouts, “WAKE UP, YOU LIMON!”If you like your soaps subtle, like a wine with “notes” and “undertones” that you pretend to taste, this will suit you fine. If you want something that smacks you in the face with fresh lemons, go for L’Occitane Verbena Extra Gentle. That one means business - it's proper angry (in a cheeky chap sense), but skin-cuddery.
