A fun gift for a gardener

I was using my fingernails to dig up grass and leaves in my garden when I saw these gloves! They really work and save my fingernails from even getting any dirt under them!

These gloves are so fun, and well-made. The rubber part is supple yet thick enough to resist tearing, and the claws (love the claws) are perfect for digging in either wet or dry soil that is not too hard packed. The only problem is that while you can dig away like a badger on steroids, when it comes time for more fine-motor gardening tasks, you have to remove the gloves because your newly minted badger abilities become useless. However, this does not deter me from using these gloves all the time for the initial digging of holes for planting flowers and vegetables. I have read complaints from other buyers of these gloves that the claws come off easily. I suspect that the claws will come off if digging is too diligent, but I started using these gloves 2 years with so far, no problems.

These are very strange, but quite effective. It is an odd feeling wearing them. I was able to dig out around our overflowing sewer line and not worry about getting my hands contaminated.I'm only giving three stars as one of the tips cracked before I even started using them.

Glove quality is not quite what I thought it would be but they are as heavy as most medium quality garden glove.The tips are very heavy plastic and are heavy enough to do some light digging and weeding. If the gloves wear out the tips could probably be re-glued to new gloves.

I have had these before and they lasted years. They make it easy to dig holes in the soil without the need of tools.

Strong and easy to wear - I bought them for my dad, and I had to get a pair for myself.

These are garden gloves with oversized plastic pieces barely glued on. The claws dont work to dig up plants or weeds, they arent attached well enough to the fingertip of the glove to use at all actually. There is also a really fun, "no returns" policy so you are stuck with these worthless Gloves which is really nice.Maybe someone at Goodwill can use these for a halloween costume because otherwise they are a wasted $5
