It works and gets the job done
Works well, decent value. Initially, we brought a Philips PerfectCare Compact Steam Generator Iron - that was dead on arrival and Philips "customer care" was absolute rubbish - thankfully, Amazon returns took care of that really easily - thanks Amazon! We got this as the replacement and couldn't be more happy with it.

Regal steam generated iron!
Received this iron they other day, very pleased with it, does the job brilliantly, ๐

?Faulty water tank removal mechanism
Its a brilliant iron in many ways but the detachable water tank is very difficult to pull out from the main assembly when one wants to fill it. Spoke to TEFAL customer services and they asked me to buy silicone grease and apply on the area where it catches. They did send a photo as to where to apply the the grease. Although this has made it easy to pull out the water tank, this is hardly satisfactory and one should not need to do this with an expensive iron. However 5 STARS TO AMAZON as they agreed to refund the full amount and arrange collection. I decided to keep the iron as could not be bothered with the hassle of packing it and sending it back.
