For just a few $$ more ( an additional percentage over base Sitz Bath, but really not a deal breaker at an additional $12for electric). And you AND your bottom are so worth it. Especially now. And if you are arthritic or your hands may be too weak to otherwise be expected to continually, manually, be squeezing a rubber device in the palm of your hand, in order to experience any fountain spray of clean water to your body, effecting you both too slowly & painfully at a time like this!! Instead, you will be so pleased you went upscale and chose ELECTRIC!!. Most importantly, it is easy to adjust to your own needs by merely adjusting the level of water you fill in the bowl.
