Granted the amount in this breath treatment is very small compared to hospital uses. I gave my dog one treatment the night of the package arrived, and the one early the next day. I wasn't eager to check her breath, but by day three, her dumpster breath was completely gone. I turn the base so that about 2 to 3 mm of goo comes out of the top of the stick. My dog happily licks the chicken flavored goop right up. She has no resistance. Now I treat her breath occasionally when I notice it's starting to get bad again. I figure I will give her a small dose every 4 to 6 days. I love that this product comes in something that looks like a gell deodorant stick. It's so amusing to me. In the month since I've gotten it, I've already recommended it to about five people. It's fairly pricey, but with the way I'm spacing out the treatment. It will last me several months.
