AB TOUCH-UPS FOR BMW C4P BROOKLYN GREY TOUCH UP PAINT PEN/BRUSH

BMW 2 series coupe only 2 weeks old and first time of washing found a tiny wee chip near the boot lid number plate. Have fixed a few chips through the years on different cars so ordered this paint pen (Brooklyn Grey). Dabbed a tiny amount in the chip and used a very fine child's art paint brush to even it out to the edges. As I said the chip really was tiny but I knew it was there, always wary of rust setting in so tend to cover these things quickly. I can honestly say I can't even see where the chip was now, excellent product and superb match

I bought this because BMW for some strange reason does not offer a genuine touch up pen for their Brooklyn Grey metallic paint.I’ve applied this paint on a few stone chips and the colour match is excellent. I also like the metal nib because this applies paint in a more controlled manner when compared to the usual brushes that come with touch up pens (this applicator also comes with one of those if you need it).As this is the first time I’ve used it, I cannot say yet whether the nib will clog come the next time I need to use it. With previous touch up pens I've usually used a small fine paint brush to apply paint to stone chips which can be wiped clean after use, so I can always do that if it does clog.One minor critique is that after shaking to mix the paint, after taking the lid off the nib, it started weeping paint due to a little positive pressure inside. You can either wipe excess off on a towel directly before applying or unscrew the lid slightly to relieve the pressure.

BMW don’t yet do an official touch-up in this colour. I bought this to touch in the bumper on my G23. The nib allows accuracy and the brush allows larger areas. The colour match is absolutely incredible! So good that nobody could tell it was even damaged. I now ONLY buy AB Touch Up sticks as I work closely with the BMW products. Having to buy another in this colour as I lost the last one. Have also bought Skyscraper Grey from AB for my F44 and that was the same high quality
