Nicest earplugs I've used
I bought these after losing my previous set of earplugs, Surefire EP4s. Wearing the Race model under a Bell Star DLX (not the race star) on a CBR600. Turns out this helmet is made for more of a touring than sport riding position according to Bell so the wind noise is a bit louder.First off these are the most comfortable earplugs I have ever worn and the first set that have stayed in place for more than an hour or hour and a half. Cheap foam plugs seem to work their way out of my ears after 30 minutes, and the EP4s would last maybe an hour and a half before they were starting to work their way out. Also the EP4s would press on my ears just enough that they were getting a bit sore by that time anyways. I wore these for a 3-1/2 hour round trip this weekend and they stayed snug in my ears the entire time, and are comfortable enough that I could pretty much forget they were there at all. So, I absolutely love the comfort on these and if I ever lose them I'll buy another pair on that fact alone. Also great is they filter just the right amount of noise for riding. Foams and even Surefires with the caps open filter a lot of noise out, great for protection but more than needed in my opinion. My helmet is quite loud at highway speeds, and these still cut out almost all of the wind noise but when I pull up to a light or just stop to talk I can still hear people well enough to talk. I couldn't really do that with the EP4s or especially foams.I haven't tried every earplug available, but these are definitely my new favorite and I don't believe I need to try anything else now. The little insertion tool is a nice addition too, makes getting them in super quick and easy.

They work as advertised.
These significantly reduced the wind noise I was experiencing on my bike. Very comfortable, even with my full face helmet. The small tabs make them easy to extract.

UPDATED: Road test pros and cons
I was looking for good touring ear protection on my BMW r1250 with loud exhaust. I did a test of three different options, on the interstate going 75 miles an hour. I was looking for protection from exhaust noise, wind noise, convenience and consistency, and ability to hear music from my cardo pack talk.First, the Alpine race MotoGP ear plugs did well with protection from the motor/exhaust noise, but did not do well with protection from wind noise. They provided consistent protection and were relatively easy to insert properly. But as with all earplugs, they tend to work themselves out over a couple hours. My second option was BOSE active noise cancellation earbuds. Those did well with exhaust noise and wind noise but not as quite as well with the exhaust noise as the alpine. Nice thing about the earbuds is that they are very consistent and stay in place. My third option was foam ear plugs. Those did well with wind noise and exhaust noise if they were inserted correctly. However, I found that about 50% of the time I had to stop and reinsert them to get them inserted correctly. None of the solutions allowed for good listening to music at that speed. Music clarity increased as my speed decreased.Overall, I would give the Bose active noise cancellation earbuds my highest rating, because even though they didn't block the noise quite as well as some of the others they are consistent and they did block both wind and exhaust noise.UPDATE. After further testing and inserting much further into my ear canal, I found that these earbuds do a an excellent job of blocking both exhaust noise and wind noise. It just takes some practice to get them inserted correctly

Super comfortable
These fit really nicely and are very comfortable. Tried them the very night I got them. The wind sound reduction is the most noticeable which will help protect the only pair of ears will will ever have. They don't come out when putting on or removing my helmet they fit very snug. The carrying case looks very slick and the little tool to make the inserting them into each ear more easier. With the tool even with gloves on the inserting of these plugs into each ear is a breeze. With those tabs they are just as easy to take out. This is worth the money.

Work very well, easy to use, comfortable
These ear plugs work great! I have been using foam ear plugs that claim to reduce the ambient noise by 32 db. The Alpine Motosafe ear plugs seem like they reduce the ambient noise more than the foam ear plugs. You do need to make sure the Alpines are inserted the correct distance into the ear canal for optimum noise reduction. The Alpines are easy to insert with the insertion tool. They are also very comfortable and do not make my ears sore after a long day.

Very comfortable.
I’ve used the orange cheap foam plugs for years. These are much more comfortable and quieter while riding.Just did a 3 day eastern Oregon trip on a Tenere 700. Worked great. 25mph to 80 mph. Highly recommend.

Quite good, but too fiddly
I used Flare Isolate for the last few years but recently lost one of the aluminium stems, so thought I'd look for something cheaper but hopefully just as good. The good: the Alpines are very, very comfortable. The middle: pricey for earplugs, but they do seem to be good quality items and well placed at the mid-price point between 'ear' foams at about a dollar a pair and the Flares (no longer available, but the new model is about $35 then $15 a time for replacement tips... which sounds expensive, but isn't too terrible as they do last) anyway... the Alpines...The bad: If you don't fit 'em properly (and they are fiddley to fit 'em properly) you may as well not bother. I used them on the way to work - much louder than either foams or Flare, but still comfortable and good road awareness, however riding home, a journey of about 11 miles, I hadn't quite fitted them properly and had to pull over due to noise and re-fit them, still didn't quite get the left one just so, but tolerable. So I couldn't ride 5 miles. The only other time I have ever had to pull over was with the foam types where I had either stuck 'em in too far and it hurt or not far enough and they didn't work.Overall: Needs work - obviously a quality product, but just too fiddly.
