Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ Wet Cat Food

I've had my senior cat on this food for over a year. He has had a history of urinary crystals & blockage. The vet had him on the costly vet food- K/D, C/D, but he got the point where he wouldnt eat the prescription food, so we needed something different. In the right hand column, she has a chart showing different cat foods with phosphorus levels, calorie count, etc. This Science Diet Minced Chicken was on the lower end of phosphorus levels which is supposed to be good for cats urinary tract health. I've rotated between the Minced Chicken Entree & the Adult Minced Chicken Entree & my cat likes them both. Have purchased both the 5.5oz & the 3oz cans. The 3 oz cans are easier because I feed my cat 3 times a day, one small 3 oz can at each feeding. When we buy the 5.5 oz, we need to split up the can & refrigerate then heat a little. Don't leave an open can out for more than a few hours because bacteria can begin to form. Highly recommend this food if you're cat has urinary health issues.

She eats this one and only this one Hills Science Diet Senior 7+ chicken entree. So what you say? Well for a rescued cat who was clearly hungry and refuses multiple brands, flavors and textures and preferred a 'churu' style of feeding, this is nothing short of miraculous. It was so bad I was putting wet food into 'churu' tubes to get something into her, She did pick at Gerber's Chicken and gravy, but not enough to continue buying it. My local food pantry was giving away pet food so I took 2 cans of this pate textured (it's not really minced) chicken food and WOW. It smells like there may be liver mixed in as well, but whatever is in there, Cat gets it for breakfast!! Highly recommended brand.

I switched to Science Diet, mature 7+ about 2 weeks ago for cats (had tried some small cans from Petsmart). I have 5 - all between about 8 and 15 yrs. To my amazement - they love this really mushy food. It's almost like thick baby food - and like some other reviewers - it does get matted down on the dish at bit - but cats seem to still eat/lick it up) just fine. I put out both my old food (Friskies, and Fancy Feast) and they go for this. They also each much less of it. Must be much more filling. SO. even though it is more expensive than my old choice - am using about half. I now split one 5.5 oz can/and one little can for all 5. Was splitting 2 to 3 of the other brand (5.5 oz cans). Recommended.

I’ve tried many soft foods and bought the Weruva Truluxe for quite awhile because of its fabulous ingredients but have found that my cat prefers a paté style food so I switched to this and she loves it! Meows for it a few times a day. I love that it’s specially formulated for more mature cats (mine is 10) and the ingredients of this food are top notch. Highly recommend.

I've been searching for a nutritious wet cat food for my cat. While she likes the dry formula, the wet version doesn't appeal to her. It seems to be the texture of the wet food that she doesn't enjoy, rather than the food itself. I hope Science Diet will introduce a gravy formula. Although she occasionally eats Friskies shreds with gravy, I'm curious if her occasional aversion is due to the fact that Friskies wet cat food is made in America and Venezuela.

El servicio de Amazon excelente. La comida no es la misma ha cambiado bastante a mi gato le encantaba ahora no quiere comerla. No se si la fórmula ha cambiado pero es una pena tan buena comida que era.

Three cans are crushed and the contents have spilled out. Otherwise I do love this cat food and it is high quality. Shipping and handling just, failed.

Oscar the car loves this food, he has Hills wet food and we also buy the dry version too, this gives him the choice. Recommended by our vet after Oscar developed crystals several years ago,

For the last 6 months, all 3 cats really like this pate as well as the Age 7+ dinner which is small cubes. I add water to both because they are all older cats - better for their kidneys. A few times 1 or 2 cans were damaged in shipping - if really dried out probably a break in the seal so has gone bad. Really like the reliability of auto-order!
