How does this differ from the saphir renovateur luxury care balm?

I believe they are similar but my understanding is that the renovator has higher concentrations of bees wax and its focus is mainly footwear and leathers exposed to the elements. I used it on belts and watch bands with great success. I believe the renovateur luxury balm would be better purposes on leather furniture and delicate goods. I could be way off but the formulas are similar but may I think one is more directed towards footwear. Both are conditioners so it would be better to use either than none at all.

Does this weather proof the leather? Looking to use in rain and snow conditions

No.  This product is not designed to repel water/make leather waterproof.  You'll want to look at Atsko Sno-Seal (for maximum work-all-day-outside-in-a-monsoon waterproofness) or mink oil paste (for daily may-get-caught-in-a-rainstorm-during-my-commute water-resistance).

is it possible to condition patent leather with one of the saphir products, if so which product, please?

Don't you even think about it ! ! ! - Patent Leather is a type of leather that requires its own cleaners and conditioners. ANY product for Calf Leather is NOT appropriate.

How to use it exactly? Is it like a conditionor? What's the difference between this and the same brand shampoo? Do we need extra conditionor?

You can use it as a cleaner or as a conditioner during the normal shine.But be sure to use it prior the shining to protect the leather and also can be used for nourishing. Regarding your question regarding the difference. .. this is a top brand with a more creaming finish against another brand shampoo (this product don't leave a pasty finish ).And besides you don't need additional conditioner,just a shoe Polish.
