Terrific! Stays on for at least a week without chipping. I love the color

Since I've discovered Sally Hansen's Gel Polish, it's all I use. I use the base coat, the color, and the top coat. This nail routing lasts about 1 week and seldom chips. There is also a nice array of color choices.

NEON color is best w/ 3 coats - used SH Gel primer & SH Gel Top coat (shiny) silver bottle step 2 - the system impresses the nail salon 💅 gals today… they couldn’t believe u need no lights etc - super polish just need 3 coats for best results imho & nail techs rec - I am over the moon - I am rockin the neon as long as Mother Nature allows - lol - I also ordered the standard red / baby pink / & for fall orange & maroon!! I found the secret nail polish ladies - Get it & make sure to use the SH gel Primer & Step 2 topcoat in shiny all part of the gel line & my nail salon & I are absolutely shocked by the quality & how it all performs together - def comp to OPI etc

I applied it then after it dried, had to do work with hands. It didn’t chip, streak or come off, like most polishes do. Days later, still looking good… so I’m very pleased. Will definitely purchase again. Happy with color and strength ~

I am really enjoying the miracle gel polishes. People had stated they chip and don’t last but I’m getting 7-9 days before I get tired of the color and change. I work outside and use hands a lot and overall it is pretty chip resistant. I do clean nails well prior to primer. Allow a couple minutes between coats. The coats feel dry fairly quickly but I also allow more time for the final coat to set well. This color is pretty but it does have more light red/pink tones instead of a rich Christmas red even with two coats. It is a pretty color and has sparkles (very festive!) but don’t expect a rich Christmas red. I used the high gloss finish.

So this is probably my fault for not looking close enough but I thought this was UV curing gel nail polish. The Sally Hansen gel I have seen before usually says no light needed on the lid or bottle. So I assumed because this didnt have that, that it was a UV gel which is what I was looking for. No where on the bottle does it say which it is. Overall as a nail polish its okay, I tried it out and the consistency is pretty normal with no clumps but it does take a couple of thinner layers to get it to set properly rather than 1 thick layer. The color is okay it looks pretty accurate to the product photos but It definitely looks too washed out for me. Im pretty pale so I'm not sure what skin tone this would work for. I thought this would be more like a French manicure kind of natural pink but it leans more towards light nude with a faint pink purplish color. It makes me look unhealthy and sick if I'm being honest i even got comments about how "it doesnt look like my color" so I immediately took it off. I can't say anything about how long it lasts for that reason but it was fairly easy to remove. I think its a decent polish that just wasn't a match for me. Maybe if you have pink skin undertones?

This polish goes on easily, is thick but not so thick that it's hard to spread. Covers my nail beautifully. I was a little surprised at the color because it wasn't what I thought it would be. But I'm not unhappy with it. But, I am not happy with the fact that it started chipping two days after application. 48 hours after I applied it almost to the minute I have light chipping on the tips. I'll attach a picture. I wear gloves when I wash dishes and the only time my hands really get wet is when I have to wash them. I don't work outside my home and really I don't have a whole lot that I do that would cause this but either I'm extremely hard on my nails or it just doesn't work for me. Now I did apply several layers - a layer of Sally Hansen primer, two coats of polish and a top coat. I'm not going to give up on this just yet. I'm going to try just applying one layer of Polish and the primer end top coat. These are all of the same series of Sally Hansen gel-like polishes. Wish me luck in finding the key.

I recently tried the Sugar Plum Kisses nail polish, and i have to say, I'm pretty impressed! The color \I picked was a rich kind of reddish colour and it looked just as vibrant on my nails as it did in the bottle. The application was smooth and even with no streaks. What I really liked was how quickly it dried. I could almost immediately get back to my day without worrying about smudging, which is a game changer for me. I only applied 2 coats, as with other brands I tend to apply. That perfect finish in 2 coats did the trick and then I applied the top coat. for optimal results. After a week, I noticed only minor wear at the tips, which is pretty solid performance. I've had polishes that chip within a day or two. The shine remained nice and glossy even after a few hand washes. Overall I would recommend this colour to anyone.
