Good product, it does what it is advertised, cost effective and fast shipping!
Ordered 9/9/26, delivered 9/11/26. I value fast shipping, if it comes after three days I deduct one star. The seller shipped fast to me! I have an old straight razor with a long blade. It is a bit of work to keep after a sharp edge with these old razors so when I found this razor i decided to give it a try to see how it shaves and to be a bit more modern and not have to resharpen or strop the blade with a leather strap. I found this blade is a lot shorter than my old school straight razor and to my surprise I liked it a lot better. I can shave around the contours of my face better with this razor. It looks great. It has a nice weight that is balanced in my hand. I like how it is screwed together and not plastic joined. It came with 100 disposable blades the instructions say are about 200 shaves. Time will tell on that statement. First shave yesterday and it was great. Smooth, sharp blade gave me a very close shave, no razor burn. I really enjoyed using it. Normally I like to use a product a few times before writing a review but this razor was a big hit with me on the first use. It looks great and I found it to be a great value at the price I purchased it. I am 67 years old, been using straight and safety razors for a long time now. This razor took me by surprise how good it is. Straight razors are not for everyone, they can cut you and are a bit intimating but once you learn how to use it and get your first really close shave you may just love it as I did on my first shave. If you are experienced give this on a try, if you are new and want to try a straight razor I think this will be a great one to start with. Hope this helps, DPC

Solid Straight Razor and Good Value
Solid Straight Razor and Good Value I really like the Utopia Care straight razor. The razor itself feels pretty thick and sturdy in your hand, and it doesn't feel like a cheap or flimsy product. It has a good overall build and feels durable enough for regular use. I also appreciate the number of replacement blades that come with it. Having that many razors included adds a lot of value and means you don't immediately have to purchase additional blades. My only minor criticism is the logo. The printing doesn't seem particularly durable, and I can see it eventually wearing off with repeated use, especially since using water is generally part of using and cleaning a straight razor. Overall, though, this is a pretty good product. I like the construction, the thickness, and the number of blades included. I'd definitely consider purchasing it again in the future. Would buy again.

I Didn’t Expect to Love a Straight Razor This Much… But Wow!
I have always felt somewhat nervous shaving with the aid of a straight razor. This product, however, proved my preconception wrong. It is the Utopia Care Professional Straight Razor that changed my attitude to this tool; now, shaving is an experience I cannot live without anymore. When I opened the package, the first thing that caught my eye was the high-quality build of the product. The razor is neither too heavy nor too light. Instead, it is just perfect. Moreover, its matte black design is what makes it look so professional. When using it for the first time, I proceeded with caution. However, when I finally learned the use of this tool, the results impressed me to the highest degree. This is probably one of the most comfortable shaving tools I have ever used. There are no unpleasant sensations whatsoever. It provides excellent closeness. However, what caught my eye was how natural it was to hold. The razor provides a stable grip, and blade is fixed tightly into place, and thus you get a better sense of control without feeling that you are struggling with the razor itself. In addition, 100 replacement blades come with the package, which is a definite advantage, especially because there is no need to spend money on buying new blades all the time, you just need to change the old one when necessary. It must be noted that some experience is needed before starting to use it. In other words, my first few shaves were not successful or perfect, but they could have been better, however, after learning certain techniques, you will find that it is very comfortable to shave using this razor. The fact is that this razor makes the process of shaving enjoyable, not burdensome. And for those of you who have had an interest in straight razors but were a little unsure, this is a wonderful razor to begin with. It's just possible that, by taking things slow, you too may fall in love with it.

Solid Straight Razor with Plenty of Blades – Just a Few Things to Note
I picked this up as an affordable straight razor for shaping up my beard, and overall, it’s a solid choice for the price. The razor itself has a nice weight to it, and the black finish gives it a sleek look. The fact that it comes with 100 Derby blades is a huge plusdefinitely a good deal considering you won’t need to buy refills for a long time. A couple of things to keep in mind: The blade holder mechanism works, but you have to make sure it's properly secured to avoid any shifting while shaving. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to double-check before using it. Also, the handle is comfortable, but the screw that holds the two parts together can feel a little loose over time, you might need to tighten it occasionally. For someone new to straight razors, there’s a slight learning curve, but once you get used to the angle and pressure, it does the job well. Just take your time, and make sure to stretch your skin properly to avoid any nicks. For the price, this is a great value, especially with the extra blades. It’s not a high-end razor, but if you want something affordable and functional, it’s a solid pick. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to try a straight razor without spending too much.

These are a steal!
I got this razor to replace my regular hair cutting razor with a serrated edge of sorts. It’s the type of hair razor I’ve used, it’s the kind my stylist uses, and it’s the typical type of razor you find when you look up a hair cutting razor. Except my issue is, whether I’m cutting my hair or my stylist is, I feel like it’s never giving a good clean cut. Doesn’t matter if I change the blade after every use, it just feels like I’m giving myself split ends. So here’s when the straight razor comes in. I liked how cheap it is to replace the blades, and I liked how it’s just a regular razor so I felt like it’d give a cleaner cut. Spoiler, it did! I absolutely love this thing for cutting hair! I got this razor and 100 blades for $7.99, that’s an absolutely incredible price for this. The handle itself is solid metal and it feels very heavy and substantial in your hand. It’s easy to control and it’s very easy to change the blade, you just slide it in. It’s not a regular razor blade, it’s the same kind of blade you use with a safety razor, except this one only has one edge not two. It’s super sharp and it’s just glides through your hair. It’s absolutely perfect, you literally cannot go wrong with this!

Not bad for the price.
I've been using a straight-edge razor for a little over a year now using a typical "old fashioned" blade and decided to give this a shot for a variety of reasons. The price: You get what you pay for. I paid $9.99 for this razor and 100 derby blades. The razor itself, or razor caddy to be more specific, is decent. It's stainless steel and of good construction. The blade is held firmly in place just as it should be. The problem is that the two dots for alignment inside the enclosure are slightly off so the edge of the blade is at a different angle than the edge of the caddy, they should be parallel and they're not. This seems like a minor problem, but when you're working with something that is barely extending beyond the edge of the caddy, you have to use the caddy for alignment on your face either by sight or touch - but this creates a perception problem and if you're not extra careful you'll end up slicing your face/neck instead of shaving it. If the alignment were better, this would be a superb product. Perhaps mine is just faulty? Your mileage may vary. Speaking of slicing your neck, this brings me to the Derby blades that came with it. My first shave with it went well - just as I'm accustomed to with my prior razor. It took a few strokes before I realized the alignment problem, but once that was figured out I was able to adjust. My second shave was a decidedly different story. If you've never used a single, ultra-sharp blade before, then you may not realize that when something is THIS sharp you don't feel pain right away when you cut yourself. That was what happened with the second shave - my neck was sliced in many places. Once the blood started flowing from multiple cuts, I stopped and inspected what was going on. The blade had a nick in it. Because the first didn't, I assumed this was a fluke. I took the blade out and put a new one in, only to realize this 3rd blade was nicked also. I then opened up 10 more of the individually wrapped blades and 7 of them had flaws that would cause this problem. Out of the 13 total blades that I have opened so far, 9 of them were unusable for shaving. The box containing the blades was slightly askew when I received it, and was definitely damaged during shipping but the blades looked fine until I inspected them specifically looking for imperfections in the blade edge. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this is not their quality control but was instead a shipping issue, but I recommend you be very careful if you do order this product. They're delicate. Doing further research it seems Derby blades are far from ideal. Their thinness accounts for how easily they're damaged and become unusable. Even the undamaged blades only gave a really good shave for 3/4's of my face/neck before dulling. I am able to complete a full shave, but it's less smooth near the end due to the rapid dulling of the blade. Some people report getting a second shave from each one, maybe I was just spoiled with how long my standard straight-edge was able to hold a shave-ready edge. Short version: Quality of the blades is lacking, find different blades to use with the caddy. Quick research will show you the best alternatives. The razor/caddy is good, but would be great if it held the blade parallel for easier use.

Great. I’ll never switch.
My favorite razor! This is my second or third one over the years. Works GREAT. Very sharp blade and it gets the job done!

Best $10 I ever spent on shaving!
Not for those unwilling to learn to use it, but if you watch a few videos, take care, go slow, and work on your technique -- it will give you a very good shave. For the price, it's the best shave I have ever had short of a professional barber with a straight razor. My shavett came in good shape, with a good finish and a tight fit on the working parts. The blade fit is perfect with proper blade exposure. This is my third time using the shavett, and I have had one small cut on the top of my finger because I accidentally tapped the edge the second time I used it. It's a razor guys, so handle with due respect. I got distracted while changing my grip, and it bit me. Watch the videos boys, practice handling without a blade until it feels natural. It is not as easy to use as other razors, so expect a learning curve. These were mainly designed for barbers to shave OTHER people. If you are using a safety razor now and want to try a straight edge and don't want to spend the time to learn to use the most difficult system for shaving. (The shavett) Then go ahead and get a entry level straight razor. If you are willing to put in the effort, and don't want to drop $300 on a shaving system, then a shavett may be an option. There ARE better shavetts out there, but probably not for $10. You can spend as much as a decent straight razor if you go with a Kai, or a Feather Artist Club shavett, but if you want to try it for a lot less, then this is a good idea. For the price you can get a couple of them, and toss them in a bugout bag when you decide to upgrade. $10, CLOSE shave, less irritation and razor burn -- just go really slow at first, and keep using your disposable, safety, or straight razor for the really hard spots until you have your technique and skills developed, and realize at some point you will cut yourself, hey, it happens. Man up, drop $10, and learn to SHAVE! Update: 8 months after purchase, and razor is starting to fall apart. Basically the rivets in the handle are falling out. For the money it's been cheaper and better than disposables. Just ordered a new one.

Perfect
This is my third ever Straight Edge shaver, and by far the best one of all. 1. The packaging came completely sealed in thick clamshell plastic. Love that. I recently ordered a similar one from another brand and that came pre opened with finger print smudges all over it. Gross! 2. The quality, weight, rivets/swivel, all work and fee great. 3. Way easier to clean. My old ones would get permanent rust/orange spots. This one seems to be wayyyyy more resistant and easier to clean. The rust starts from the blade itself and forms if you leave the blade in, and in the shower over a night or 2. I did it with this one and running it under water quickly and wiping with a towel brought it back to new. Ive used a straight razor for about 4 years now. This is my 3rd one. By far the best one. ALSO, this one came with my favourite blades. The other one I bought from another company was used and advertised 100 blades but only came with 10. And not even Derby branded like their photos. 10/10 stars for this one

Great price and quality
Great quality for the price. I ordered this straight razor just to test out using this style of razor, as I have always wondered how it would feel to shave with one. It comes with 100 blades. The blades are extremely sharp, which means you generally pay for any mistakes you make while shaving. With proper technique this works fantastically!
