Dexter Outdoors SOFGRIP Flexible Fillet Knives with Sheath

Right mix of flexibility and sturdiness. Works great for large fish like salmon and trout. The sharpness and blade retention so far beat anything else I have tried. The handle grip works well in wet environments because of the texture and the white has not stained. The fact that it is USA Made and of top quality has made me buy multiple additional Dexter Russel blades.

I bought another version of this knife for my husband to use on fishing trips. Decided for the price I'd try one too. I love it! I do have a set of expensive self-sharpening knives that I use most of the time but for trimming beef, fish, chicken and venison this one works perfectly. The length and blade thickness make it easy to handle. Being left-handed, some kitchen tools give me issues but this one works great. Tje handlenis a great size and material making it easy to hold. I also like that it can be sharpened as needed, even though so far its been plenty sharp. Highly recommend!

Dexter fillet knives are always solid choice

I love the plastic hard sheath, its a dexter enough said, sharp and hold edge well,great knife. Just spend the money and only get dexter they just hold up.

Very good knife for the money

Utilitarian fillet knife! Works well easy to sharpen, nice grip. I’ve only ever had one of these or a Marttiini fillet knife and it basically comes down to handle and sheath preference.

I'm not going to pretend this is the most premium knife ever as the steel is ok not incredible, but it sharpens easy, is as flexible as you'd need and the handle is comfortable (if a little underweight). For the price for what you get in function I can't complain.

The knife is very flexible with just the right amount of spine closer to the handle, I wish it was about 1 inch shorter, but that was my mistake, purchasing the longer one, all in all a beautiful knife
