this thing is HUGE! I bought it for handprints for my kids and it does a really good job. will go a long way because you barely have to touch it and it's really well saturated. my only con is, it is very hard to get off. so if you are using it for hand or footprints, keep that in mind or buy a washable one. but it's not really made for that and works how it's supposed to so I give it 5 stars. it came shipped wrapped in plastic in a box so it wasn't dried out or anything. it also comes with a little sliding lock on it so when not in use it won't just come open which is really nice. this is worth the money and I highly recommend it!

Finally a decent-sized ink pad! Do you know you can't buy even the old 3" x 4" ink pads at retailers like Walmart anymore? You have to go to a craft store, which is about as out-of-place as I can get. I got tired of hunting around for a normal sized ink pad and checked amazon, finding these big ink pads. I intended to order one, but these were inexpensive enough I ordered black, blue, and red. They're an excellent size; 5" x 7" and the cover closes tightly and has a smallish sliding lock to keep it closed and hopefully keep the pad from drying out prematurely. I like 'em very much! if you need an ink pad you should grab one of these. Though you can regret buying an ink pad that's too small, you won't ever run out of room if you get one this size.
