My favorite kind of screen protector
I love these soft, thin, but very protective screen protectors. I've tried tempered glass but they crack after 6 months, whereas these often last 2 years. Thank goodness you can still buy them, unlike a small phone!

Excellent Product
I have used the Skinomi Screen protector on a Pixel 2, Pixel 4a and now a Pixel 6a and can thoroughly recommend the product, it hardens to a good finish with no loss of screen sensitivity or problems with the under-screen fingerprint detector. Just make sure you follow the installation instructions and allow the film to dry overnight, do not worry if there still seem to be any air bubbles they will disappear completely in 24-48 hours.

Magical
Pros:I've used this Skinomi film for an older phone before, and the quality is still the same even for my new phone. If I make a dent or minor scratch with my nail, the protector really does eventually "heal" and the scratch disappears!!Cons:Nothing really. It took a few days for the bubbles to go away, but it is PERFECT.

Difficult to install but good once on
Difficult to install - I actually ended up with the first protector ruined despite following the instructions closely. Finger print reader works now though, which it didn't with a glass cover

Skinomi is the best
This is, by my count, at least the 10th phone or tablet that has been given a Skinomi screen protector. They have been installed pretty easily (by me), have lasted well beyond the time we've kept the device, and have performed perfectly for us. All of our devices have been dropped during the time we've had them (none intentionally), some have had the screens scraped or gouged, all have been on devices we've kept for at least a couple years. The screen protectors have worked just as you've hoped they would. I can attest that they really are self-healing. It's a pretty impressive thing to see. My next phone will get a Skinomi, too.
