If You Care FSC Unbleached No 2 Coffee Filters, 100 Count

Every "If You Care" product I have used has been a good product. I am particularly keen on their parchment paper for baking. Unbleached, chlorine free, and better for the environment. As for this product, this is my second package of No 2 Coffee filters, 100 ct. I don't go through them too often, but I use this size when I am brewing a cup of coffee using a collapsible single cup coffee maker (typically used for hotel stays and camping, but occasionally in house too). I think typical coffee makers use No 4. Grounds never seep through it, and my coffee always tastes great. I have no use for the typical white paper filters, and so I am happy to be able to buy this product here as well as in stores. I have zero complaints or concerns, so a full five star rating is warranted.

These filters rip easily. I still use them because they are nice otherwise. However, be sure your coffee top has small holes and not one big hole. Several times it ripped right through my single hole poured and I lost a bath .

I use these with a COSORI Pour Over Coffee Maker and they have been a great addition. The biggest difference compared to using the stainless steel filter alone is the clarity of the coffee. With just the metal filter you get more oils and fine sediment, which some people like, but using these paper filters gives a much cleaner cup. It really smooths everything out and gets rid of that slight grit. They fit well inside the COSORI filter and hold their shape during brewing. I have not had issues with grounds getting through and the flow rate is consistent as long as you are not pouring too aggressively. The fact that they are unbleached is a nice bonus. There is no noticeable paper taste and I like that they are a more environmentally conscious option. The only downside is they are a bit thinner than some other filters, so you do need to be a little careful when rinsing or pouring. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Overall these are a great option if you are using a metal pour over and want the flexibility to switch to a cleaner cup when you feel like it.

I was looking for unbleached coffee filters, no toxic additives. I am happy I found them. The #2 works well for my pour over coffee maker cup. I like these filters very much, I will order again.

These worked great but then the bottoms started to fall apart

Love these coffee filters! They are super sturdy, I’ve used half the box and haven’t had any leak grounds like I have with other filters. Fits perfectly in my ceramic or silicone pour overs.

I LOVE these coffee filters! They fit perfectly, do not leak any coffee grounds and are very durable. I love that they are unbleached. I have purchased many times and have family members who loved them so much they also purchased!

Was expecting a bigger size for 10/2 cups did not really indicate on site, still can. use them

I NEED coffee in my life and I have a drip machine so filters are a must, but I want something that doesn't have plastics in and isn't environmentally harmful. Enter these filters. They stay strong, even when just used. They are easily popped into the machine, fit perfectly, filter the coffee beautifully if you don't like a ton of sediment (some like standing a spoon in their coffee but I'm less keen), and after use, I can pop the whole thing straight in the food waste or compost with no mess or fuss. Afterwards, I leave the filter section out to dry naturally. For 100 of these filter papers, it's a bargain and I wouldn't be without them.
