Does it come assembled? I need to get it through a 35inch door. Will that be possible?

It comes as one unit, just the hand rails, foot mounts and display need to be put in place. You will not get it through a 35' door though...also the weight of this unit is at least 500lbs. It is not easily moved without very large dolly or jack

Did you have to buy a separate power cord? mine does not work it is not for US

I have been trying to get in touch with the company on a US converter cord but to no avail. I did buy a converter but only works for a few minutes and shuts down. My electrician is now trying to figure it out. If you find out please let me know.

Is this a motorized unit or self assisted?

It is self assisted/propelled. There is an electric motor that is used as a brake. The higher you set the level, the more the brake motor releases. I fully disassembled mine to get it upstairs. It's an impressive machine.
