I thought this might be too shallow to be of much use, but with the heated bowl, it serves the purpose of sheltering the food from rain and snow, and keeping it warm & dry. It doesn't do much to keep the cats comfy while they feed, but I'm not sure the feeding station should be a shelter for cats, other than it would be nice if they could be protected from rain while they're trying to eat. Mine sits on my covered porch however, which solves for some of that, and is on a thick rubber mat that conducts a little of the heat generated by the bowl. Adjacent to that are two hard heated mats with extra bowls for wet food, to keep it from freezing, and they contribute to keeping the deck temperature more comfortable as well. This heated bowl is being used for warming kibble and providing a water source that won't freeze over. I prefer fountains, but that's not really practical in cold weather. All in all, I have to say it serves the purpose, thus my 5 star ranking. It's solid, and everything I've come to expect from K&H pet products in general. I've bought a lot of them from both indoor and outdoor kitties, and none of it proved to be a waste of money.

Sturdy, expect it will last a long time. Didn't move in some strong winds we had recently. It is water proof. Easy to put together. I can fit two medium sized dishes inside. My cats love it.

I feed several stray cats and have a nice setup on my carport with 3 heated cat houses, a heated water bowl, double heated food bowl for wet food and 3 bowls with kibble and treats. I had trouble with the food getting wet or dirty when it was windy, so I needed a solution. After looking at several items, I think decided on this kitty dining room. It is big enough for their kibble/treat bowls, and was easily assembled with velcro. It keeps the food safe and dry, and the cats love it. I was a little worried that they might be spooked by it, but they walked right up and started eating. Two cats can easily eat side by side at the same time. It has an opening in the back for a cord to go thru, so 2plan to get a 2nd one for the heated wet food double dish. Great investment, highly recommend

I have befriended numerous feral cats and while I’ve been able to semi-domesticate a couple others are strictly outdoorsy! That meant freezing water bowls and snow and rained on food! So when I saw this eating enclosure it was a perfect match for the heated bowls I’d purchased. At a good size and with weather resistant material is attractive enough to look natural just outside my kitchen door. It was very easy to put together and while I wouldn’t say you couldn’t sit on it, it is well made and sturdy enough to take on a snow drift!… I’m happy I bought it!…

I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure these would work. I have feral cats. They feed off my driveway and every day had a flock of about 50 birds coming to eat the cat food. I set these up and no more birds. And they do a pretty good job of keeping the cat food dry, and the water clean. I have three set up on my driveway. The only problem I have with them is that there are no windows in them, and the cats are only able to stick their heads into eat, but they’re constantly looking around because they can’t see through the sides or the back. They’d be really great if they had some kind of insulated plastic window on each side and the back. But nonetheless, they serve the purpose, and they were priced well and as lightweight as they are, with the balls inside, they don’t blow over in the wind.
