Xwerks Grow Whey Protein Powder, 25g Pure Isolate Peanut Butter 30 Servings

My favorite breakfast protein bars were discontinued so I bought this with baking my own in mind. Yesterday, I mixed one scoop of Peanut Butter XWerks Grow with a tablespoon of high fat cocoa powder, 30 drops of monk fruit, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 2 cups unsweetened almond milk, pinch of sea salt AND my secret ingredient 1/2 tsp guar gum for thickness. So good I cannot believe the clean nutrition/low carb/low cal treat I was drinking. I use a Blendtec (high speed) blender. It may not be a smooth in a regular one. NOTE: did not get a whole lot of peanut butter flavor from this powder but I will just add a tablespoonful of peanut butter if I want to amp it up. A big step up flavor wise (not chalky) from my old standby Garden of Life Sport. Pricier but worth it for my needs.

I've had scores of different protein powders on my journey to this one. Muscle milks, Sunwarrior, Bob's Red Mill, Vega, Garden of Life, GNC and various flavors and styles of them. When it comes to flavor which obviously is hugely important to sticking with any protein powder, this stuff is downright delicious. I took the advice of other reviewers and I mix a full scoop of vanilla muscle milk with a full scoop of this peanut butter flavor and it's hands down the best protein shake I've ever drank. I also tried their strawberry flavor but it was a tad too sweet for me. I drink it with various brands of oat milk, this particular stellar shake that forced me to write this review before finishing it is 12 ounces of Chobani vanilla oatmilk and the two scoops I mentioned before. I didn't try two straight scoops of PB but I suspect I won't like it as much as I really didn't like two scoops of strawberry. This is an expensive protein powder, definitely suggest making it last longer by mixing with another. Nonetheless, I'm hooked to this stuff, I'll happily shell out the cash for such a good drink.

I’ve tried a lot of whey protein products over the years, but nothing, and I mean nothing, is like this one. The taste is absolutely amazing and hits my PB cravings like nothing else - not too sweet, but not too dry either. It blends perfectly, tastes fantastic (like a snack) and I actually look forward to my protein shakes now every day. Mixed with milk the taste is so good I’m taking it three times daily now.

Taste is good. The flavor (PB) isn't too strong or overwhelming. While I did enjoy this protein powder, there are other brands that are better and cheaper. When buying supplements, try and look for third party tested products.

I really like the product. It mixes better than other brands I’ve tried but the peanut butter flavor is not good. I might try XWERKS again in chocolate to give another try.

I’ve wasted SO much money and been disappointed more times than I can count with grass-fed sugar-free protein powders. You know what I’m talking about...artificial tastes, wayyyy too sweet, chalky and won’t mix..and on and on. This is the best protein powder I have ever had, hands down. This is a top match for even the best tasting sugar-filled protein powders. I’ve been on a very low carb (keto) diet for years and this hits my PB craving perfectly. I always mix my protein powders with almond or coconut milk (I’d highly recommend a milk vs plain old water!). I don’t write reviews often but I read them religiously and will buy my products dependent on these reviews so I had to make sure to write one here. Looking forward to trying additional flavors! I usually don’t do reviews but I have contacted this company 3 times about the flavor of this product. It tastes nothing like peanut butter. It does mix well and has a decent chocolate tastes but it isn’t supposed to taste like chocolate. So maybe writing this will get a response.

I have been looking for a new peanut butter flavored whey protein powder for smoothies and decided to give this a try. However, it tastes nothing like peanut butter. I almost think they put the wrong flavor in the pouch. It is basically chocolate. I would not buy for this flavor again.
