Are the one ply leafsprings enough for my jeep? I know the ones i have now are almost flat.

My ‘98 Jeep Cherokee XJ had about 2” of sag in the back end. The previous owner put a tow hitch on and wore out the rear leaf springs. When I installed the rear leaf, I added also another leaf from a factory leaf pack from another Cherokee. I used the second to smallest one. It brought the back up just a touch above the front. This suited me well because I would like to tow with my Jeep.

Can I use 33 inch tires with this kit?

I believe the answer is arguable. I had a 1992 Jeep Cherokee XJ that I installed a 5” lift kit on. My first set of tires were 35”. Once I wore that set of tires out, I downsized to 33” tires. Technically, the 35” tires fit, I could drive down the road, turn corners and drive over speed bumps without any rub issues. With that said, if I wanted to go drive off-road the larger tires wouldn’t allow the full articulation needed without rubbing. I believe the answer would be the same with this lift and putting 33” tires. Technically, it’s possible but if you wanted to use all of the possible articulation in an off-road setting, you’ll experience rubbing. I’m on my second Jeep and I put this kit in it. The maximum tire size I’m going to use is 31”X10.5”.

what's the difference between the (part#)  670N2 and the 670XN2 kits

The 670XN2 comes with longer lower control arms and sway bar drop brackets in addition to everything that is included in the 670N2 kit.  I have read that the axle only moves back about 1/4" so I'm using the stock lower control arms.  I ordered the sway bar bracket separate.
