Custom Heroes

In Custom heroes the players are trying to reach ten victory points. This is done by playing cards until someone is the first out, and then finding who is second etc. until someone is last. The game plays two to six players.A turn consists of the first player to play either a single number card, or a set of cards with all the same numbers. The numbers range from one to ten. After this the next player will have to play the same number, or higher card, and match the amount that the player had played. For example I played four ones, so the next player will have to play four ones also, or four two, four threes, four fours, etc. As soon as everyone passes till they reach the player that played last than the round ends, and a new set of cards are played. This goes own until everyone is out except one player. Each player will earn a set of points, and coming in last will grant more cards to use to customize their deck.Custom heroes gets its name from being able to slide see-through cards into the cards in the game. Even though the game begins with numbers one through ten for each player in the game, it can change drastically. A player could change a one to a ten, eleven, or twelve. Than later that same card could be reduced to an eight, seven, or six. Each card is limited to four custom additions to it so players cannot change cards constantly. This customization can lead to some great plays as a player may want to play four tens, but only have three tens and a five before customizing the five to a ten to be played as a set.This is a fast game that plays quick when every begins to understand what they are trying to accomplish. The game also has some additional customizations that do more than add numbers as a card can simply copy another, count as two, or change the rule of ascending numbers to be descending.A great card game that plays great with four to six. A game that can be taught to anyone that wants to play a card game that allows them to outthink their opponents, and figuring out how to play their best hand.

This game is ADDICTING. It's almost like playing uno except you can buff your cards. Every game can be a different experience. Strategizing during the game is so exciting. This game also comes with sleeves to help combine cards and also keeps them tidy! I definitely recommend this game, especially for the holidays!

Really fun simple game that gradually adds complexity as the game goes along. There is a bit of strategy.Pros: Tokens are double sided, upgrade cards change cards aesthetically, great art, comes with sleeves, all around runCons: The rules could've been written a bit better and taking the plastic film off each upgrade card was difficult (optional)I think this is going on my top 10 games list for sure

The game is simple to learn and great for small groups and such.Setup is quick if you don't have any sleeved advancement priorGameplay is fun with a few slow points when people are thinking and sleevingClean up is a bit tedious unsleeving but if everyone helps it does not take that long

This is easy to teach and accessible. So, I am able to rope nongamers into this game and we play and play and extened the winning criteria just so we can keep powering up our cards. Some cards are hilarious with their modifers and completely stump opponents, who have the hand all figured out. I bought a second copy for my collection.

the game its self was amazing, that being said the cards came in warped it was worse then the new mtg sets left out for a month
