Quick delivery, perfect fruit
We ordered the 2-lb box of passion fruit from Jiro's Garden on the Friday before MLK weekend. It was shipped the Tuesday after MLK day and we received it two days later. So the delivery was fast and reliable. We would likely have gotten it within 3 days if we hadn't ordered over a holiday weekend. It's so hard to know when passion fruit is good, so we really commend the company for only sending perfect fruit. Every single one was fresh and juicy when we used them a few days after they arrived. They were all a little tart, though, and if we had time, we would have let them ripen a bit longer. The price made it seem like a splurge, but we searched high and low and could not find passion fruit in Western Washington. If you need them for a recipe, we got about 270 grams of pulp (after extracting the seeds) using all but one of the fruits.

Zero Stars ! Terribly Disappointed - What has happened to your service & product??!!
After several past above expectation purchases this one is as if I ordered from a different seller --- you just lost my business. See picture, this was NOT 2 pounds of fruit I paid for and was advertised. Previously the shipment has included 20-25 ripe passion fruit but this time ONLY 8? Fruit is also GREEN and not ripe; no, this green of fruit will not ripen over time.I cannot imagine a seller boxing and trying to pawn this off to a customer at full price, knowing how it would be received and knowing that the fruit would not be edible.I hope every single reader of this review takes my advice and does not waster their time, nor their money on your false advertising and listing.

Huge, delicious fruit. Worth the price.
I fell in love with passion fruit at a breakfast buffet in Sydney AU. At the time, I didn't appreciate their look, but I thought I'd be brave and try one and then went back and took all of them off the fruit tray. Ever since then, I've been searching for passion fruit at home. The few times I do find them, they cost $3-4 a piece. I buy them anyway. I even bought a vine that I babied for two years, watching it take over every other plant in reach while only giving up four fruit in two years (it died when I tried to prune it back -- apparently passion fruit vines like to roam free). When I saw I could get them through Amazon (Tropical), I figured I'd give it a try despite the reviews complaining about the fruits' freshness, etc. I got my delivery the other day (mine weren't packed with the vines, just wadded up paper) and the only thing that would make me happier is if they weren't so expensive. I got only eight fruit -- but they are HUGE -- easily twice the size of any I've seen before. And I got 2 lbs as advertised. I let them get a little wrinkly and then just cut them in half and eat the flesh and seeds with a spoon. So far I've only eaten one, and it was delicious, exactly what I've been craving. Yes, they're definitely a luxury, but I will be ordering again, at least every once in awhile.

Exactly what I hoped for
Are you skeptical about buying passionfruit online? I was. But I’ve purchased from this company previously, and tried them again when I had a recent passionfruit craving, AND to treat myself for my bday. I am very pleased with the amount and quality...exactly like the fruit I bought and enjoyed when I lived on St. Croix in the VI. Per fruit, at my local grocery store (the fancy one), each fruit can be $3 per IF they are in at all, which is a rare occurrence. But these were delivered quickly and exactly ripened, with just enough wrinkles. Great buy!

Empty and shriveled
Almost all of the passionfruit in the box were shriveled and empty, one had clearly gone bad. Huge waste of money, it was like buying someone's trash.

It is OK - tasty but a little pricey
Product tasted good - fresh fruit. Got within the timeframe promised. Good service. I was scared when I first opened it, though (I removed the padding then took a picture). But, the product is fresh. Kind of expensive for what you get. I received 1.7 lbs of fruit. Some were more filled with the good filling in it than others. But, it’s nature. :)

Not ripe, but they didn't need to be immediately.
The passion fruit itself was wonderful. I didn't expect to have ripe fruit immediately and had the time to let it ripen before cooking with it (which was my ultimate need and goal). The box it came in, however, was absolutely destroyed when I received it. A corner was bashed in and it was all falling apart. I was glad to see the fruit was okay. I don't think it was the seller's fault so much as the post office's fault. I ordered the fruit again and it was even better the second time. I will order from them again if I end up getting more orders from customers!
