My cuckoo clock stopped working several months ago and I was just waiting to drop it off with the clock lady in our town (she’s REALLY GOOD!) On a whim I looked up on YouTube about cuckoo clock maintenance and it was mostly all about oiling it every 3-5 years—-the last time it stopped was over 5 years ago, so I read and watched the video and I was nervous but said what the heck-I invested less than 9 dollars got this TOTALLY SYNTHETIC OIL (which all reviews said to use) and I applied a drop at all the pivot points (which were easily described in the video) and now, 5 hours later it is STILL running smoothly! It wasn’t the money I saved (which I did big time) but the fact that I saved the hassle of bringing it down to the clock shop and waiting a few weeks and having to go back a SECOND time to pick it up! Oil was perfect and I highly recommend!

The oil works great for my grandfather's clock! It has my clock working great. If anyone knows where to put the oil in the clock case, then it is easy to get the right amount of oil where it needs to be with the needle-nosed oil dropper!

I got my antique clock working again. I got a clock from my mom recently that my dad and I had found at an antique store 50 years ago. It had stopped running years ago. I did a little research and hoped that a good cleaning and oiling would do the trick--and it did. It has been a month, and my clock is still running. Only 4 stars because there is no smaller bottle. I will never be able to use the whole bottle with only one clock to oil.

Pricey, but got my grandfather clock going again after it had started to intermittently stop (if you see what I mean). I think there will be enough oil to last for the remaining lifetime of the clock, so you might as well buy the best stuff up front.

I had three older German made clocks that had stopped running a long time ago - an 8 Day mantle clock and two 400 day anniversary clocks. There seems to be nothing wrong with them, they just wouldn’t run, so I bought this lube to give it a try. All three clocks are now running just fine. It’s a bit pricey, but apparently worth the cost.

This oil came as the internet recommended best for oiling a grandfather clock mechanism. Tis a highly technical job, I have read up on it Utube but have not started yet, But I am ready.
