We spent three very rainy windy days at Disneyland, and we would have been miserable without these ponchos. They were perfect! The only part of us that got wet was our feet. As you can see in the photo, these ponchos (we are the orange and pink) are longer than that yellow one of a different brand. These ponchos are also much stronger and longer than the ones they sell in Disneyland. The material is nylon and it kept us nice and dry and was wonderful at blocking out the wind. Even when the rain was coming down at a slant due to wind, the longer length of this poncho really protected us. I even wore a backpack and the poncho was plenty big to entirely cover me with the backpack. Ours also have a bill on the drawstring hood which really helped keep the rain off of my eyeglasses. When it was time to take the poncho off to go on an indoor ride, my daughter and I simply slid our ponchos over our heads, quickly rolled them up and put them in a Walmart bag which was very easy to manage while on the ride. We did the same anytime we needed to use restrooms or went in a restaurant. Wearing the ponchos was so much easier, effective, and efficient than messing with an umbrella. If you are going to an amusement park or sporting even and you are expecting rain, I highly recommend these ponchos!

Im 5'5" and 220lbs for reference. This fit very comfortably over me and my day pack while hiking a small mountain on a very cold and steadily rainy day. I think it will work with my multiday backpack as well, but I haven't tested that yet. Its durable enough that it did not tear on my pack or the light brush/rocks I was interacting with. I hiked in it for about 2 hours and it did not wet through. The snaps on the sides were very useful and not restrictive at all. It did a surprisingly good job of insulating some body heat and keeping some of the cold wind out - just enough to take the edge off. I imagine that the ventilation options would make it a good candidate for warm weather rain as well. I did not test the brimmed hood by itself, but it was excellent at protecting the brim of my hat from getting wet and soaking my forehead. The pocket was nice too, as it kept my phone dry at an easy access point. The weight of the phone did not shift the poncho forward uncomfortably at all. As a backpacker who is always looking for lightweight gear, this inexpensive option was honestly a better solution than many of the $$$ brand name options ive purchased in the past from REI - including their own brand pit-zip raincoats. Highly recommend for the weekend warrior type hikers preping for light rain and looking to reduce their pack weight on a budget.

Odd smell. Wash first in tub before using. It's fine after that.

Love the beautiful pink color! It has an oversized fit, which is perfect for covering my backpack or purse. While there’s no zipper, the buttons on both sides make it easy to wear. The material isn’t very thick, but it does a great job of keeping me and my clothes dry. Plus, the style is really nice!

I love the silky (not plastic-y) 'feel' of this, along with the strength of the material. Durable, yet light-weight, and very attractive. Love the pocket, the visor in the hood, the grommets at all 4 corners. And, somehow, it smells good! I wasn't shopping for a 'nice smelling' rain poncho, so this was an added bonus: a pleasant (not plastic) smell - almost like talcum powder.

I have pink boots to match. I play PINK to "get the party started" when I wear it (earphone). It is the FIRST EVER poncho that KEEPS ME DRY from head to toe. Women at Publix and passerby's in parking lots say they love it, too! It is simply FUN, FUN, FUN. Yes, I'm 5'1" and it's big enough to cover someone MUCH bigger but I am Singing In The Rain nonetheless.
