I try to keep my 2913 Avalanche looking good and the problem with the paint wearing off the heating and cooling controls with regular use is frustrating. These little stickers are an easy (albeit a temporary fix) for the problem. They stick well until summertime when it gets hot, then they start to peel at the edges and you have to keep sticking them back down... but they're inexpensive enough that if I have to replace them a couple of times a year I'm good with that! If you are selling your vehicle they will definitely help boost your resale price because when first applied you can't really tell they're aftermarket and it makes everything look clean and not worn out.

I have purchased these before. The first time i simply applied the sticker to the buttons with no prep. This worked fine during the day but at night, the faded areas of the button shined through the sticker and it looked TERRIBLE. Before you apply the stickers, sand the area and fill in the rest of the green with marker and it’s great. Definitely dims the light a bit at night but not nearly as bad as the green smudge of death that happens to all of these. I would give 5 stars if there was a cutout on the stickers so the light could properly shine through. Im sure they had their reasons, but all around, easy and great fix for a major problem on these generations. Sure beats paying 150 for a new climate control unit

Purchased for 2008 GMC Yukon xl slt Came with two sets of stickers for 5.99 The stickers came unscathed !! 👍 They are a thick vinyl like stickers and they are super sticky! If you mess up and peel it off the button, it will peel off the material on the buttons you are trying to put it over. So be careful! They do fit perfectly. A little tricky to put on with bare hands. Wow! I'm SUPER impressed!! The only reason I'm not giving it FIVE stars, is because I only got ONE pack and it says I should get 2!! (If you send me my second set of stickers then I will happily upgrade it to a 5*****!) So, I wiped off the buttons with rubbing alcohol to clean them, and just let it evaporate dry. When I was sure that it was fully dry, I carefully peeled off each sticker and very, very slowly and carefully, placed each one. Now, if you are patient, and if you have an eye for it, these vinyl stickers fit 100% EXACTLY perfect. O mean EXACT. And they have a pretty good stick, so do a little tiny bit at a time and then you can adjust to line up PERFECTLY and then stick. (Try to align the top even better than the bottom because you'll be viewing it a little bit from the top) I'm good at this kind of thing, so I can't even tell their there. It just looks like BRAND NEW PERFECT buttons! Like seriously--I'm impressed! I cannot believe I didn't do this before. So cheap- and with a little patience and care- problem solved! (I'll try to send a picture later it's dark right now.) Now, at night, when it lights up, you can see a bit of the wear behind the sticker- that means it's not pitch Black or the black of the sticker is if it's worn out in that spot. But that's super minor and only if you are looking for it. It's so much better than just a big green lighted blob. We'll see how it holds up, but I would think that the price would be worth replacement, even if I had to do it every year! Note: the ones with the little cut out that you need to punch out of the sticker for example the power button sticker... It can be a little tough to punch that little thing out, and you don't want to get your fingers on the back to take away the stickiness-- so I suggest maybe using a pair of tweezers to hold the sticker (away from sticker edge) to maintain maximum stickiness! This tweezer method can even help you better align during placement.
