This is an amazing product if you use canned pumpkin for your pets. Its super fresh and re-hydrates instantly. I love that i will no longer waste canned pumpkin or have to store it in the refrigerator. I can keep this in my pantry, ready at anytime. Disregard the reviews about hard product. If they took the time to open the vacuum sealed pouch, they would have found it to be a soft, fresh powder and really easy to use.

Our vet prescribed a spoonful of pumpkin with each of our dogs' meals to help with digestion issues. When I had trouble finding the usual canned pumpkin in the stores last month, I ordered this to see if it would work. It was a great find for traveling with the dogs -- much lighter and space efficient than canned pumpkin and easy to reconstitute with a little bit of water. I can't speak to how it tasted, but the dogs licked it up happily. I certainly recommend it for that purpose. Regarding some of the reviews about it being hard-packed, that's just because it was vacuum-sealed. Once the inner pouch is opened, it's pretty easy to break up and get a spoonful when we need it; not a problem at all.

Really helps my dogs and they love the taste. However when I order the large size bag they are so hard as to be impossible to break up. Smaller size is fine though. No idea why this is but have found it to be true across multiple orders.

I make my own dog food topper for my two 60 lb dogs. I had this just a keep them regular because pumpkin is good for their digestive system I also add in Golden paste and all the other essential topper items. It's very easy to use the individually packaged bags so I can set everything out that I need to put into their Crock-Pot to make the food while I'm busy doing other things. And they seem to like it so why change?

I normally like this stuff other than the fact that it’s more expensive than other brands. This time it came hard as a rock with no chance of breaking it down to flake. I was refunded but am now not sure if I want to buy it again.

It got one star only because it is required to post a review. I ordered this because I'd used it before with my IBD kitty. He is having a flare up and the pumpkin helps settle it down. I thought all would be fine since it was a 1 day delivery. Nope. When you cut into the vacuum bag, the powder should just fall loosely. Today, the product I received today is as hard as a rock. I banged it on granite and couldn't even chip it. It is completely unusable. I am trying to get a refund. Will be happy to send this trash back to the seller - as long as they pay for return shipping. The Amazon chatbot told me it is not eligible for refund or return. I would say DO NOT BUY THIS. It is a ripoff

When it arrive and I opened it up, I was real skeptical of the vacuum packed orange looking powder and if I wasted my money when I really need this for my doggie right now! I read the instructions and took a couple of tsps and added a bit of water until it looked about the right consistency and then took a taste and I couldn't beleive it, tasted great just like pumpkin. This will be much easier to work with to add to my dogs food and not have it going bad before I can use up a can of it. I put in another zip lock bag and of course it will not last for ever once opened but a lot longer than an opened can that needs refrigeration and it's freshly made each time too. Additionally it's concentrated, so it will make a lot of pumpkin but as much as I need at one time. I coated some chicken with it. Be sure to read up on how much to give your dog or cat based on size etc that's also important too.

My cat loves this and suddenly I can't find it anywhere. Crushed... it was helping my Sphynx's stomach issues. She won't eat other brands I have tried. One reviewer said it was stale and clumped together... I think that's just the vaccum pack. Ours was always like that... I just took a moment to break it up and put it in a jar. Cat loved it. Now... I guess I'll just have to keep trying more brands until I find one she'll eat. We tried human grade Gourmanity Organic Pumpkin Powder and she won't eat anything if that is in it.

Thought of easy way to have my darling eating pumpkin. Unluckily my darling don't like it. She prefer whole small piece steam in a pot.
