Vitamatic Melatonin for Dogs - 6 mg - 120 Beef Flavored Chewable Tablets ((Pack of 1))

We give our dogs melatonin as they are scared of storms, fireworks etc. Was buying another brand with less product for more money and found Vitamatic which offers more tablets for less money and works just as well. Will continue to purchase when needed.

At first I thought it didn’t work on my 9yr old 8lb Maltipoo. But around the time of the 4th of July I was able to set her up with a sleeping spot in my bathroom and after feeding her the second pill of the day she was able to sleep through the night.

I was hoping this would work. As soon as she started taking it my dog had diarrhea which stopped when she was off the melatonin. I read more and noted it could cause gastrointestinal issues. May work for others, but not for Thea.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I bought Ita-Matic Pets Dog Melatonin for my dog, Max, who gets super anxious during storms. Honestly, I was a bit unsure about it at first, but it really works! After giving it to him, I noticed he calms down much quicker when the thunder starts. It usually kicks in within about 30 minutes, which is great. The ingredients are natural, so I feel good about giving it to him. Plus, he actually likes the taste! He takes it without any fuss. For the price, it's totally worth it. If you have a dog that gets anxious, I definitely recommend giving this a try!

This product really works. My dog isnt hyperactive before bed anymore. He goes in his cage without barking and crying to get out. He awake fresh and ready for the day. I will continue to use this product.

Works well

This product is inherently good, but not good in practice. Melatonin for Dogs is meant to make them drowsy and then eventually fall asleep. That is, if your dogs come to enjoy the pills, mine did not. They are marketed as beef-flavored, so I tried one myself to see if my dogs would enjoy them. Nonetheless, they taste okay; they aren't really good, but stretching the point and marketing them as beef-flavored is an overstatement. I have smaller dogs, so I would split the pill in half and hide it in their food. With training, I was able to put it in their favorite snacks and treats. The bottle stenches the moment you open it, which is a negative response from me, but my dogs seem to find the odor well. This was until they actually tasted the pill. I am not really aware of the ingredients inside the melatonin, but I believe they are okay because they are marketed as "Vitamin." A common side effect my dogs experienced was drowsiness, but not sleepiness. They just shut down a little. This was typically enough for them to fall asleep, but they noticeably stopped barking and just calmed down. My dogs didn't find much pleasure in the pills, which is why I would hide them in their food. They didn't have any changes in their stools, so that's a green flag regarding digestibility. But in general, I wouldn't recommend these pills to the general public. If you need your dogs to shut down a little at night, this is a good purchase. However, I wouldn't recommend this product for them to fall straight asleep. But if you are concerned about your dog's health or the side effects of these pills, I would purchase them and take them to your local vet.

These work amazing with my dogs.

The effect last about 3hrs for my small dog 3kg. Now have to find other alternative to solve the dog waking up and walking around in middle of night

Love this for my dog so much cheaper than other places a lot of people are unaware that human melatonin tablets can be toxic to dogs these are specifically manufactured for dogs no harmful additives for our canine friends.

I would not buy this product if you had an active Dog that wouldn’t sleep As she doesn’t suffer from anxiety but tablets didn’t help her sleep at night but when I took her to daycare, she slept most of the day and then had to take her to the dog park to try and wear her out after daycare So I wouldn’t recommend this product
