The explanatory preface referred to an ancient source manuscript "preserved in the Monasteries of Thibet". An irish clergyman claims to have discovered in a Tibetan Monastery the Original Gospel from which the present Four Gospels are derived. Review: In my opinion, this is the true "New Testament" - Remember in the accepted version of the Bible how Jesus blasts a fig tree? I always found that difficult to believe that he would do that. When I found this, on another website in its entirety, I was hooked. Especially when it showed Jesus blessing the fig tree for providing shade, food and a home for the birds. That sounds more like the Jesus I picture in my head. I could go on and on about my opinions of this book, however, so I won't. I feel I can read it more objectively than many "believers" because I was raised atheist. My mother, who was my spiritual influence as I grew up, never disrespected the person of Jesus. I was taught that he was a great teacher and wise man, but that was all. Some Christians, in fact most of them that follow the canonical Bible, would probably be greatly offended by this book (eg, the Christ is Jesu-Maria -- Jesus and Mary and I think they mean Magdalene, not Mom). I don't think there's a single mention of Paul/Saul of Tarsus and his alleged writings. When I decided, on a whim, to search for it on desertcart I was amazed that it was in print. Any way, take it from a Unitarian-Universalist atheist: it's a cool book and worth it. Review: The content is Great - Amazing book. I wish the type was bigger. It’s really tiny font and hard to read.
