Very nice, I hooked this up to my 2020 Ranger xp1000 Ultimate, and it fit the existing studs perfectly. Plus it is exactly like the one my buddy paid three times as much for his. This is a transmission saver for parking on hills, and it is an extra layer of security when hauling it on the trailer.

Purchased for 2020 Polaris Pro XP Ultimate Turbo; Had to drill out (enlarge) mounting holes to fit over the (2) two OEM mounting studs behind brake pedal, afterwards it mount correctly and functioned per design, Jamie, Montana

I first came across a parking brake add-on for my Polaris General at an off-road trade show. I was impressed with the simple design, and have always wondered why Polaris did not install a parking brake on these machines. I wanted to buy it from the vendor at the show as they are a small company and I like to support small businesses. That said, they were asking about $80. Not bad for safety's sake, but pricey for what it is, and more than I was prepared to spend that day. This one is almost the same for a fraction of the cost. I often stop on inclines on the trails, but try to find the most level spot. Having some sort of parking brake is just better. It doesn't replace common sense and I still park in a way that is as safe as possible, but it does work well and holds the machine in place.

Works perfect!!! Installation took less than 5min. Bolted right up to my 2023 Polaris Ranger XP1000. I didn’t like the hardware that came in it (it was already starting to corrode so I replaced the bolt with an aircraft style stainless steel bolt and nut. I also didn’t like that the original hardware had a lot of play between the catch and frame so I used washers as shims to make it have as little play or wiggle as possible. See my pictures for installation as this product does not come with any instructions but it’s pretty self explanatory. Other reviewers said they were drilling holes!! No need on this model it bolts right up.

Bought three, fit on the Pro models fine but does not fit 2025 RZR XP 1000
