I received a beautiful, bright colored basket, and I just love it! It is very well made and totally worth the price I paid for it (around $45). It did come folded, but I found it easy to shape after soaking it with cool water as the instructions call for. I am very pleased, and am already thinking about purchasing another one! If you like surprises, I definitely recommend ordering one of these baskets. I know some people would like to be able to pick the colors and patterns on their baskets, but if you're like me, the anticipation of not knowing exactly what you are going to receive is part of the fun!

Stunning hand-made basket. It is delivered flat packed and you soak it in cold water excluding the leather wrapped handle . It only took a few minutes to shape it and it was actually fun to do. I decided not to do too much shaping of the handle as I wanted to retain the integrity of the hand made piece. The colors are beautiful and the quality is exceptional. This basket was a little pricey but worth every penny. It is a little larger than I thought it would be but it is within the measurements that were described on line. I simply cannot give enough praise on the beautiful workmanship of this stunning handmade piece of art. And supporting the African artisans who made it by hand is so important. Very happy with this purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the color and shape of this basket ! It’s exactly what I needed for a bridal shower gift! I like it’s handmade from women in Africa too! It comes flat and I just submerged it in water and shaped it, was very quick and easy ! I love this !

I like baskets but the one I ordered was not the one sent…. I ordered vibrant multi color and was sent 2 tone color I don’t like. Please send what was ordered.

Wobbly. But very sturdy at all. I know the colors vary but I expected more than one color

I had to return this because the shape didn’t fit my needs but it was stunning and I love the process of using water to shape it! I hope to be able to reinvest in this basket soon!

It's fine. I use it for veggies from the garden.
