What happens at 6 months that makes it necessary to throw it out and replace?

Hi, It is highly recommended to change your wooden comb once every 6 months so that your scalp gets the proper nutrition from the wood. Post that the wooden combs start to deform as they are made of softwood and the nutrients start reducing. It would be great if you can get it changed once every 6 months 😊

Is the wood laquered polished sealed or unfinished then treated?
