Very good coop game with contents that also work in Unmatched PVP
Fun cooperative game built around a PVP board game. Getting this game essentially gets you both, mostly. Their are two coop scenarios and with lots of variations to allow for more player (1 to 4), add variation (play different heroes, or the villain has minions), and add difficulty (many cards of rule changes that makes it harder). I like the difficulty cards as you can enhance it thus keeping the game fresh. Play with none, one or more of the difficulty cards. The four hero characters that come with the game are very capable for Unmatched PVP play. So, that is very nice. Also, you can bring in other Unmatched heroes to play against the villians in this coop game. Again, it gives you endless permutations to keep it interesting.

The Unmatched magic continues
Unmatched is a whole series of games, any one of which will introduce you to the mechanics of player versus player—or, in the case of the two "Unmatched Adventures" games in the series, co-operative play against a game-controlled adversary±all of which are "mix-and-matchable." Every fighter (and their are tons) is very different and much of the fun comes from trying to figure out how to make this character work well. The charming genius of Slings and Arrows is that the heroes are Shakespeare himself along with several of his stage creations—Hamlet, the Witches from Macbeth, and Titania. Not at all complex to learn, but brilliant fun to strategize well.

It's an Unmatched set, if you don't already have it, buy it.
One of my favorite sets yet, the characters are unique and fun to play, and they pair up well against characters from the other sets. Of course, the artwork is amazing! It's an Unmatched set: if you don't already have it, buy it. And if you already have it, get one for a friend!

Worth at least trying
This game is easy to start but takes time to master. Me and 3 friends picked it up and started today for the first time. We understand the basics and played the game normally. The we realized we missed our passive moves like blackbeard extra turn, combos we had, counterplays for pandora, sidekicks we could block movement with, and even punishing attacks other players did with lokis trick cards. This game was fun to play and my buddies are thinking of getting expansions to add to the roster

Good set bad price
This set is pretty fun especially with the new ongoing effect mechanics and geralt being able to change his deck, not to mention the maps which feel really nice, the ancient leshen is an ok hero at best with not many defense cards making him super vulnerable but strong attacks, ciri is a powerhouse that grows as the game progresses which is awesome! My biggest gripe is why is it 50 dollars for a three person set when the marvel sets with the same barely hit 30$? There's absolutely no reason for them to be this expensive and it's difficult to buy them when that's the price of their best 4 person set. Either way at least 2 of the three characters are very nice.

Great 20-40 minute skirmish game
Rules - 4 Gameplay - 5 Play Time - 5 Replayability - 5 Cobble & Fog detailed below I have always enjoyed Dice Throne for a quick skirmish game but having now played several games of Unmatched - Cobble & Fog, I think I have found an even better game that scratches that itch. While Dice Throne is super easy for new players to get into, I think the Unmatched series is even better. Each big box includes 3-4 characters and a large 2-sided game board. The rules are quick and clear. Simply choose 2 of the 3 available options on your turn (yes, you can do the same option twice). - Movement - Draw a card (required) move your fighter (optional) - Play a scheme card - Attack your opponent You win the game by bringing your opponents fighter down to 0 health. Unfortunately, the sidekicks is not explained very well in the game. For clarity, during the movement phase your hero and each of your sidekicks may move. You still only draw one card at the beginning of the movement phase. During the attack phase you may only attack with either your hero or one of your sidekicks. The game play time listed is 20-40 minutes and we found that to be accurate. The replayability of this game series is off the charts since the unmatched game series is designed so that any character from any expansion can be played against the others. If you enjoy games where you battle your opponent using skill and cunning, and less luck, than you will find any of the Unmatched games a great option. Cobble & Fog version of Unmatched Includes: Dracula can deal heavy hit damage on his own and using hypnosis he is quite the opponent. He also comes with the 3 sisters for sidekicks which he can bring back from the dead. Sherlock Holmes is cunning and using his ability to look at your hand of cards is a very thematic way of simulating his deductive reasoning skills. Using Dr. Watsons medical (healing) and military skills (ranged attack) can be very useful. The Invisible Man makes use of his 3 fog tokens instead of sidekicks. He can move from fog to fog with ease which allows him to appear out of thin air. attack, then disappear again. The multiple personalities of Jekyll and Hyde are used to good effect in this set. While Dr. Jekyll uses his healing powers to keep his health points up, Mr. Hyde is pure evil and deals out extreme damage to his opponent, and sometimes to himself. Though you can change forms at will you may also be forced to change based on your card effects. Just don't stay in Mr. Hyde form too long since you'll receive 1 point of damage after you maneuver. Being Evil has a price.

Received a second-hand product
Board game box arrived with leftover sticky substance on it. When I opened it, the health dials were already assembled and the cards were not in its plastic packaging. Seems like it was a second-hand product but it was not mentioned. Giving 3 stars as it is still playable.

If you go down to the woods today...
Myself and some friends have purchased a number of these 'Unmatched' games, all based on the same rule system so the characters are interchangeable. We started with 'Cobble and Fog' set in the depths of late-Victorian literature, and were won over, so when the unlikely combination of Red Riding Hood and Beowulf surfaced, we were intrigued. In play, the battle was not as one sided as you might think, though Red Riding Hood's special ability, which involves the use of her basket, I didn't manage to fully come to terms with, and thus Beowulf was triumphant. Fun, certainly, and good quality, but I'll need to play it a few times to get the best from it.

Unmatched Keeps Getting Better and Better
Unmatched is a fantastic game - quick to play, easy to learn with lots of depth and strategy. I have been enthralled with this series since picking up Robin Hood vs. Bigfoot. Great for all ages with fictional characters from legend and literature to Bruce Lee!
