Kombu forMiso Soup
Korean Wild Kombu - I bought it to use in Miso Soup. It is adequate size, smells like Kombu. It is easy to use, texture is what you would except, value for money, and my soup tastes great.

Great in baked beans
I make a lot of baked beans using heirloom dried beans in an Instant Pot. One of the things I never omit is a nice big piece of Kombu. Kombu helps to break down compounds in the beans that leads to gas formation in the intestines. It also helps make the beans creamier while giving them richer flavor. This Kombu comes in a large, flat envelop. There is enough Kombu to keep me cooking beans for months! Good value for the dollar!

Low quality product
I found small insects. Using AI, it seems like those are small dried beach hoppers. Those little insects (dried) show that this Kombu have low quality control and was probably dried in an uncontrolled place. I would not recommend.

Packaging was not sealed
The bag holding the kelp was not sealed and it was open to air. I needed this today so I'm going to give it a try but it's frustrating.
