Bought this for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6 after the original plastic one went bad. This one is def easy to install. Fit is great. Much better upgrade than the original Chrysler . No issues the leak stopped immediately.

exact fit for 2013 wrangler jk 3.6 amazing price compared to the cheap plastic oem replacement was a fairly easy install as long as you know what youre doing been using for a while now and no leaks the quality over all is really good if anything happed to break id buy it again

Updated details: Seller contacted me and provided a partial refund for the trouble of having to replace the o-rings. I did not contact the seller, they were proactive and contacted me without solicitation for an update to the review. For that reason I added a star. Now, 2 months after install the upgraded cast part has held up well with no leaks. So bag for your buck this is the way to go. Save yourself $200-300 off the OEM part this one will do the job just fine. Original Review Product was a perfect fit and nice upgrade from the plastic oil filter housing for a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. Poor rating was because the one of the 5 o-rings on the bottom (which are not standard sizes and are specific to this unit) we’re slightly damaged just enough that they wouldn’t hold to the oil pressure and I had to scavenge new Mopar ones from another automotive shop for $22 plus travel. Overall the part is good. Just make sure those orings are perfect and undamaged because you’ll end up doing it over again and when you have to drain all your fluids every time and buy new, it’s a horrible experience. I did like that it was cast and that it came with a new filter inside and oil filter cap.

Installed part and it was missing the internal gaskets. coolant leaked everywhere and now the job has to be done again. amazon customer service was absolutely terrible and will not compensate me for my time. Do not buy this particular product! It is junk!

This oil cooler housing works great so far I bought this for my 2019 challenger to do preventative maintenance at 90k miles before the factory plastic one started to leak. I works great BUT, I ordered the seal kit for the Dorman oil cooler housing from Orielly because I did not trust the o-rings that came with this unit and I wasn’t going to take a chance, this job was pretty extensive. I used the cap that came off my mopar oil cooler so I could continue to use the same oil filter that my car calls for, (the one that comes in this kit looks different). I also used the sensors that came from mopar instead of the ones that were in this unit…

Installed to replace junk plastic one has lasted for a while now with zero issues. It does take the new oil filter style and that was confusing on the first oil change.

This will work on all models 2011 and up, it will look a little different from your original 2011-2013 housing but it will fit, I drive a 2011 Caravan and it works fine just put a little oil on the rubber seals and take your time with it you are good just don’t over tighten. only 10ft pounds on the bolts. (A BIT OF A WARNING BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS THING REPLACE THE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR WITH YOUR OLD ONE OR YOU WILL BE DOING THIS JOB AGAIN SOON) and if you can afford to change your Knock Sensors, now would be a good time to do that because one of my knock sensors went out the next day after replacing this cooler so you know I wasn’t happy. consider this cooler an upgrade from the old version, Your original cooler 2011-2013 has too many moving parts that will eventually breaks again, their is a spring that activates on the inside that “WILL” break apart and stopping your oil from being filtered, I’ve been changing my filter for over 2 years and didn’t know how important that spring was and that my oil wasn’t being filtered because of that broken spring until I did some research. This newer version is built different and was only installed in vehicles 2014 and up. So if you’re vehicle is 2011-2013 when you are buying your next oil filter you will need to get an oil filter for A (“2014”) or newer. The only thing you will need to worry about in the future is the seals on the bottom of the cooler gets old and give you another oil leak but at least you won’t have to buy another oil cooler

Solid, and comes with everything needed to do the job. (Gaskets and oil filter) Only note I would add is to remove the filter and put a little oil on the seals before use. I'm sure its dry for shipping purposes, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Installed on a 11 journey, 3.6l Overall a GREAT product. Thank you.

After failing other oil housing unit that I bought, this one did the job, I don't write a review right away, as I want to make sure the product meets the quality. Honestly its been over a year now and no issues and no leak.

Chose this unit because of the positive reviews on here. Initial impressions seemed good until I looked closer. Very poorly finished inside. Metal shavings and casting flash was abundant. Please see my pictures to understand what I saw with this product. Not something I'd recommend to anyone. Having these pieces of metal in the oil passageways is terrible ***Follow up*** after all the prep work and cleaning of bad casting. I installed it. Started to leak after 800 KMS which got worse. The provided gaskets crushed and didn't seal. Dumping out half the oil capacity on a short drive. Added pictures of what the original gaskets in the plastic housong look like compared to the provided aftermarket gaskets in this aluminum housing. Lost all confidence in this product.
