    Good Idea; Horrible Product

The instructions on the accompanying app are horrendous. Way over complicated and almost impossible to decipher. I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews before I bought this product. I wanted it to be simple and useful, instead, it is an albatross and a constant frustration. The instructions for getting it working are suitable to get the space shuttle launched, not an ectrical outlet...

Only purchased one of these to see how it works.Works great. I am using it to switch a floor lamp on and off.Had confusion using the TuyaSmart App. Remember, instructions are translated from Chinese.Once set up, I can control the lamp from my Smartphone or from Alexa on my Amazon Echo DOT.

Works great! Love the timer feature. Used it to control Christmas lights. Now I'm using it to control patio cafe lights. Only problem i experienced once was the outlet failing to turn on at the correct time but it turns out it was internet signal.  Added a WiFi extender and works fine now.
