The medium fits perfectly. It is beautiful, silky soft, cool and very comfortable to sleep in. My only complaint, and it's personal taste, is that the decorative stitching on the apricot colored gown is dark brown. In the picture, the stitching looks light colored to match the apricot. They do have a close up picture showing the dark stitching but I missed it. Again, it's still very beautiful, but just personally I think it would look more delicate with lighter stitching. Otherwise I really love it, and I normally just wear an oversize t-shirt to bed for comfort because nightgowns like are generally scratchy and uncomfortable. But this is super light and soft.
