Review: Beautiful, until it wasn't - Had this product delivered a month ago and immediately put it out in my garden. It was in a partially shaded area, surrounded by flowers, away from the sidewalk and road where any people or car flung debris could hit it. It's been sunny, with occasional, normal rain since putting it out, with temperatures in the 70s/80s. The other day while gardening I noticed a couple hairline cracks had started to form in the mirror glaze, but just assumed that was a minor defect. The next morning when I left for work I saw that it had literally exploded. There were glass shards in all directions. It wasn't under a tree or anywhere where something could have hit it, but I double check to be sure. Im assuming it got too hot, but there were no warnings about avoiding sun exposure or anything. Now I have the very fun adventure of finding shrapnel in my garden and a waste or money for a defective product. I reached out to the manufacturer and got no response.

Beautiful blue! But make sure that you place on a stand in a secure place. I made the mistake of putting this out near my lower deck just in time for the elk to stroll through, check it out, knock it off it's stand where it broke into several pieces. I did enjoy it for the two days prior and you will too as long as you're smarter about placement. I may order again just because it's so pretty!

Had this product delivered a month ago and immediately put it out in my garden. It was in a partially shaded area, surrounded by flowers, away from the sidewalk and road where any people or car flung debris could hit it. This ball replaced an old ball I bought at year end sale at Homedepot. I suspect it is same manufacturer. The other ball lasted at least 4 years before being broken by a falling object. It kept it's gleem and was clear with a slight pattern. Could not find the same ball so chose this. It is a striking color, well made but suffers from the same defect as the prior ball...the rubber (stinking Chinese rubber) is tight when you get it and falls off in a week. This time I decided to electrical tape it on. It is a water seal so I hope it does ot build up pressure. In their defense these are hand made so each nipple is a different size so they must have problems fitting one seal. In my case it was stretched on well and still fell off the first day. You can not go wrong with this supplier and the quality for the price...ships well packaged!
